NORTH FAIRFIELD - Funeral services for Charles Henry Smith, 76, a retired musician who died this morning at his farm home south of here following a lingering illness, will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Bender Funeral Home in Greenwich with the Rev. Richard Wolfe, pastor of the Ripley Congregational Church, officiating.

Surviving are his widow, Anna; daughter, Mrs. Helen Myers, North Fairfield; brother, Warren of Shiloh; sister, Mrs. Verne Davis, Pasadena, Calif.

Interment will be in the Edwards Grove Cemetery in Ripley twp.
