BERLIN HEIGHTS - Karl W. Suhr, 83, rural Berlin Heights, died Friday afternoon at Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Suhr was born in Norwalk and lived in Cleveland until 1948, when he came to Berlin Heights. He was a self-employed electrician until his retirement in 1958, when he suffered a stroke.
He attended the Universalist Church of Norwalk. He was a member of East Townsend Lodge 322 F. and A.M. and Halcyon Chapter 347 O.E.S. He had been a member of the Electrical Workers Union for 60 years.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary Stover, North Fairfield, and Mrs. Lois Liebhart, Mesa, Ariz., two brothers, James of Seminole, Fla., and Charles, of Waterville, O.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Hinman Funeral Home here Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Wilbur Meiser of First United Methodist Church of Norwalk officiating.
East Townsend Lodge will hold memorial services at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk.
