MRS. THOMAS WILSON

Mrs. Thomas E. Wilson, passed away at her home, 27 Summit St. at 5:20 p. m. Thursday in her 80th year. She was born in Swanland, England, Sept. 6, 1856 and became a resident of the United States in 1886.
Last September, Mr. And Mrs. Wilson celegrated [sic] their 68th wedding anniversary. She leaves her husband, Thomas E. Wilson, the children, Miss Gertrude at home, Herbert Wilson of Miami, Fla., John Wilson of Sandusky, Mrs. Rose Rohrbacker of Norwalk, Mrs. Francis Clark of Cleveland, Robert Wilson of Salem and Mrs. Lucille Donohoe of North Hampton, Mass., six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Edith Hoag, died in 1928.
Mrs. Wilson was a life-long member of the Methodist church and had lived in this community 60 years. Physically and mentally active, Mrs. Wilson was able to carry out her duties and diversions with unimpaired zest practically till the day of her death. An ideal mother and wife, a kindly and gracious friend, Mrs. Wilson was truly and outstanding example of Christian motherhood. Despite the remote date of her birth, she was able to the very last to be a much appreciated friend of younger persons.
The body has been removed to the Orebaugh Funeral Service. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Carl Asmus from the Norwalk Methodist church at 2:30 p. m. Sunday. Interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery. The body will remain at the Orebaugh Funeral Service where friends may call till noon Sunday
