At her home in Birmingham, Saturday, March 23d, 1901, Mrs. Elisabeth ENNES aged 73 years, 5 months and 10 days.

Miss Elizabeth CAN WINKLE was horn in Cayuga Co., N.Y., Oct. 13, 1827; was married to Moses DeWitt ENNES, Feb. 8, 1844; with whom she lived for over 57 years. To this marriage were born six children, three of whom are still living and three have proceeded her to the world beyond. Mrs. ENNES was a faithful wife and mother, a kind neighbor, and was well liked and respected by all who knew her. Nearly all of her life was lived in this vicinity, her life was a long one. We read that the length of man's life shall be three score years and ten; but Mrs. ENNES' exceeded this by nearly 4 years.
