Ex-Clerk Of Courts Dies Here


Earl W. Clark, 75, of 271/2 Summit St., died Tuesday evening at the Norwalk Quality Care Nursing Center following a lingering illness. He was born March 25, 1894 in Fitchville.
Mr. Clark served as Clerk of Courts in Huron County for two terms beginning in 1925. Until his retirement he was employed as a clerical worker for the Oliver Co. of Cleveland. He returned to Norwalk in July 1970 from Euclid where he had lived for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Frances (Wilson); one brother, Theron of Cincinnati; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Heaston-Hile Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Paul Baily of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
