C. L. CAMPBELL Funeral Today
Father of War Ace Stricken at Wakeman
Wakeman, Feb. 16, 1933

Funeral services for Charles L. CAMPBELL, 69 whom died suddenly of a heart attack in his home here Tuesday, will be conducted at the William L. PEASE Funeral Home Friday afternoon at 2:30. The Rev. A. L. LINDBECK will officiate, and burial will be made in Wakeman Cemetery.

Mr. CAMPBELL was born in Birmingham, Feb. 12, 1864. He had formerly been an assistant in the William PEASE Funeral Home, and for 20 years had been employed by the Buckeye Pipe Line Company.

He is survived by his widow, Caroline; two sons, Harold, of Oberlin and George, of Camden Center, Lorain County; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth White of Elyria and ten grandchildren.

He was the father of Merton CAMPBELL, one of America's former foremost aviators in the World War, who was shot down to his death in battle. Merton CAMPBELL was one of the three Huron County war heroes after whom the Ken-Bur-Bell American ____________. (cut off).
