Charles Gilbert AUSTIN

Charles Gilbert AUSTIN was born 16 Jun 1874, the son of Agnes ROWLAND & Julius AUSTIN at Wakeman, OH. He married Verta PEOPLES at Cleveland, OH on 16 Jun 1904. They had no children. "Charlie" operated a barber shop & sign painting business at his home on Pleasant Street in Wakeman & was known to entertain his customers with his ukelele . He died 17 Apr 1959 of pumonary edema & congestive heart failure. The Wakeman Public Library is now on that property.
