QUINLAN, BERNARD W.,  45, 4798 Spring Grove Avenue, owner of "Barney's Tavern", Spring Grove and Mitchell Avenues, died Tuesday night at Christ Hospital after a week's illness of pneumonia.  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna Pottebaum Qunlan; three chidren, Dorothy, George and James; his mother; two brothers, Ray and Jospeh, and three sisters, Mrs. Jule Spaeth, Mrs. Margurite Brennan and Miss Mary Quinlan. Services are being arranged at the John J. Gilligan Funeral Home, Woodburn and Lincoln Avenues, for BERNARD W. QUINLAN, 45, owner  and proprietor of Barney's Tavern, Spring Grove and Mitchell Avenues. Mr. Quinlan died of Pneumonia, Tuesday night in Christ Hospital after a week's illness. He leaves his widow Mrs. Ann Pottebaum Quinlan; three children, George, Dorothy and James Quinlan; two borthers, Ray and Jospeh Quinlan, and his mother Mrs. Catherine Quinlan.

POTTEBAUM, HERMAN:

Solemn Requiem High Mass will be intoned at 9AM Wednesday at St. Matthew Church, Roberston and Floral Avenue, South Norwood for Herman Pottebaum, 77, of 4200 Smith Rd. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, St. Bernard. Mr. Pottebaum retired a year ago as a machinist at the American Tool Works Co., where he had been employed approximately 50 years.
 
 

He died Sunday after a year’s illness. He came to Cincinnati from Iowa nearly 60 years ago. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Anna Tenbrunsel Pottebaum, three daughters, Mrs. Anna Quinlin, Mrs. Hermina Burke, and Mrs. Matilda Soden; five sons, Henry, Charles, Raymond, Leo and Vincent Pottebaum, all of greater Cincinnati, and two brothers, John Pottebaum of Dyersville, Iowa and William Pottebaum of Orient, South Dakota. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, three of whom are serving with the armed forces. These are Lieut. Raymond Pottebaum and Cpl Paul Pottebaum, both of England, and Pvt Russell Pottebaum, stationed at Ft. Knox, Ky. There are three great-grandchildren
