ROSS
Services for Charles Ross,
88, retired well driller, will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Lutz
Funeral Home, 111 North Sycamore Street, Harrison. Burial will be
in Glenhaven Cemetery, Harrison.
Ross died early
Thursday at his home, 320 North Sycamore Street, after a long
illness.
Before he retired 10 years ago he was famed for his “secret process”
which
was guaranteed to find water. His wife, Mrs. Anna Ross, died 12
years
ago.
He leaves two children,
Miss Wilma Ross, of the North Sycamore Street address, and Ralph Ross,
Detroit.
LANGE
Solemn requiem high mass
for Mrs. Anna Lange, 77, 654 Hawthorne Avenue, Price Hill, will be held
Monday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Price Hill. Burial
will
be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Eighth Street and Enright Avenue, Price Hill.
Mrs. Lange died
Tuesday in her home on the seventeenth anniversary of the death of her
husband, Henry P. Lange, former treasurer of the Queen City Crushed
Stone
& Sand Co. She was a lifelong resident of Cincinnati, member
of the Holy Family Church for 40 years, a member of its Married Ladies
Sodality, a life member of Mt. Alverno Society, and a member of the St.
Elizabeth Society of St. Francis and St. Mary Hospitals.
She leaves four
daughters, Miss Marie Lange, Red Cross home nursing instructor, and
Miss
Lauretta Lange, bookkeeper with the Fred Proctor Co., 324 East Ninth
Street,
both of the home address; Mrs. Hilda Hoh, 652 Hawthorne Avenue, and
Mrs.
Lillian Lauxterman, 4130 Jamestown Road. She also had seven
grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren.
WILLIAMSON (very

Sarah Ella Williamson,
widow of Wil??? Williamson, former superintendent of schools at Terrace
Park…………donated the ground on which the chapel was built.
Williamson
taught in Terrace Park School for a number of years before he was made
superintendent. He died in 1913.
In addition to Mrs.
[Lyle C.] Lord, wife of a retired grain merchant, Mrs. Williamson
leaves
another daughter, Mrs. Victor Heintz, Clifton, wife of a Cincinnati
attorney;
two sisters: Mrs. Albert Miller, Hamilton, Ohio, and Mrs. Thomas
Earhart, Madisonville; a brother, U. D. Clephane, former principal of
Evanston
School, now living in St. Petersburg, Fla.; two grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
