John Cleves. Miami Land Office. to Joseph McHenry, volunteer
settler
in the Miami Purchase. To all People to Whom these Presents may
come....Joseph
McHendry appears by the records to be the first applicant duly entered
for the forfeiture of Sec 17, T3, FR2, whereof Isaac Winans is the
purchaser
and who has not complied with the terms of settlement required by
the
publication at Trenton. Joseph McHendry having improved the same
and voluntarily represented the section for seven years and being
settled
thereon is entitled to his deed to 106 2/3 acres to be surveyed off in
a regular square in the Northeast corner of Sec 17, T3, FR2.
Isaac
Winans is the proprietor of the residue. Signed: John Cleves
