Aquilla Norris & wife to Abraham Conkling    This indenture made the nineteenth day of November in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and ten.  Between Aquilla Norris of the County of Hamilton and State of Ohio of the one part and Abraham Conkling of the same place of the other part.  Witnesseth that the said Aquilla Norris for and in consideration of the sum of eighty dollars to him in hand well and truly paid at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof by the said Abraham Conkling the receipt whereof the said Aquilla Norris doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth clearly acquit, exonerate and discharge the said Abraham Conkling his executors and administrators, have given granted bargained, sold aliened, released, conveyed, and confirmed and by these presents, doth fully give grant, bargain and sell, unto the said Abraham Conkling and his heirs and assigns forever, all that certain tract or parcel of land containing ten acres situate and being in the south east corner of the thirty sixth section in the fifth township and second fractional Range of townships in the Miami Purchase and county aforesaid on a regular square on lines East, West, North and South, containing ten acres (strict measure) of land situate and being the place aforesaid together with all and singular the privileges and appurtenances to the said lot belonging or in any wise appertaining.  To have and to hold the said premises with the appertenances and privileges thereunto belonging to the said Abraham Conkling and his heirs and assigns for their own proper use and behalf forever and the said Aquilla Norris for himself and his heirs executors and administrators doth covenant promise and agree unto and with the said Abraham Conkling his heirs and assigns that at the time of the ensealing and delivery hereof he is the true sole and lawful owner and is lawfully seized of the same by purchase from Elizabeth Patton and hath in himself, full power and lawful authority to sell and convey the same in manner aforesaid and the said Aquilla Norris doth farther covenant with the said Abraham Conkling and with his heirs and assigns against all lawful claims and demands whatever He the said Aquilla Norris and his heirs will well and truly warrant and forever defend.  In witness whereof the said Aquilla Norris together with Hannah his wife who hereby relinquishes her right of dower in the premises have hereunto severally set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year first above written.

The State of Ohio, Hamilton County SS} Personally came before me Peter Bell a Justice of the Peace in and for said County the with named Aquilla Norris together with Hannah his wife who being examined separate and apart from her said husband who severally acknowledges the foregoing Instrument to be their voluntary act and deed for the only use and purpose therein mentioned.  Given under my hand and seal this nineteenth day of November one thousand eight hundred and ten.  Peter Bell, J.
