This Indenture made in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten.  Between Elizabeth Paton of the County of Hamilton and state of Ohio of the first part, and Abraham Conkling of the County of Clermont and State aforesaid of the other part.  Witnesseth that the said Elizabeth Paton for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and eighty dollars to her in hand paid before the sealing and delivery of these presents by the said Abraham Conkling the receipt whereof the said Elizabeth Patton doth hereby acknowledge, and thereof and therefrom doth hereby acquit, exonerate and discharge, the said Abraham Conkling his heirs and administrators doth hereby fully give, grant, bargain, sell, assign, release, convey and confirm unto the said Abraham Conkling and to his heirs and assigns forever.  Certain tract or parcel of land situate and being in the south east corner of section No. thirty six in the fifth township and second fractional range of townships in the Miami Purchase containing twenty acres strict measure it being two thirds of the lot of thirty acres purchased by Stephen Orsburn of John C. Symmes and held by deed bearing the date the seventh day of February eighteen hundred, therefore ten acres to be taken in a square of the south east corner of said lot together with all and singular the privileges and appurtenances to the said Lot belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the said lot or parcel of land forever to the said Abraham Conkling and to his heirs and assigns forever.  And said Elizabeth Payton for herself , her heirs, executors and administrators doth covenant and agree with the said Abraham Conkling his heirs and assigns and the said Elizabeth Paton doth farther covenant with the said Abraham Conkling, his heirs and assigns that all and singular the premises and lot aforesaid unto the said Abraham Conkling his heirs and assigns against all claims and demands whatsoever her the said Elizabeth Paton and her heirs will well and truly warrant and by these presents defend.  In witness whereof the said Elizabeth Paton have hereunto severally set their hand and seal this twenty fifth day of July in the year above written.

The State of Ohio, Hamilton County SS.} Personally came before me Peter Bell one of the Justices of the Peace in and for the said County the within named Elizabeth Paton who acknowledges the foregoing instrument to be her act and deed, for the use and purpose therein mentioned given under my had and seal this twenty fifth day of July one thousand eight hundred and ten.  (Signed/seal)  Peter Bell  J.P.   Recorded Jan. 23rd, 1811
