o To support and encourage active membership in this chapter and the Ohio Genealogical Society.
o And, in general, to have a good time getting to know each other.

Held on the first Saturday of the month at 1:30 pm, unless otherwise noted. Visitors are WELCOME at all meetings. Meetings are normally held at the Greene County Library, Xenia, in the 1st floor meeting room, unless otherwise indicated with the meeting agendas below.
January 6, 2017, 1:30 PM – Family Tree Maker – This will be a webinar directly connected to Mr. Mark Olsen in Utah. Learn the history of FTM, newest features including Family Sync, Photo Darkroom, FamilySearch Integration and Color Coding as well as how to move your family tree information to this program, followed by Q&A.
February 3, 2017, 1:30 PM – Archaeology of the Cherokee Removal –
Lance Green of Wright State University will talk about his work in studying the Cherokee Removal in the 1840s in North Carolina.
The chapter has compiled and published most of the known cemetery inscriptions of the county.
Volumes of these inscriptions, plus other items are for sale.
