1. DOCTOR ROBERT "BOB" R.⁵ REEDY (ABRAHAM⁴, PHILIP³, PHILIP², JOHN BERNARD¹) was born 1872 in Virginia, and died August 18, 1951 in Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He married SOPHIA MEINTZER Unknown in Unknown. She was born 1869 in Alsace-Lorraine, and died 1961 in Ohio.

Notes for DOCTOR ROBERT "BOB" R. REEDY:

Dr. Robert Reedy was an Optometrist . He was a charter member of St. James Methodist Church, a member of the Ohio State Optometrist's Association, and Toledo Lodge, F&AM. His hobby was bowling. It is said he was a very nice and kind man. He always asked the blessing before meals. He frequently would say "Make me a blessing to someone today." He was an extremely neat person, always having every hair on his head in place. Before leaving the house he would always kiss Sophia good-bye.

Robert died August 18, 1951 and was not interred until November 20, 1951.

He is buried in Forest Cemetery grave 10. He lived in Toledo, Ohio for 53 years.

Notes for SOPHIA MEINTZER:

Sophia is said to have lived to the age of 92. She died in the home of her son Orlo. It is said she was a very dear person.

Notes for ORLO A. REEDY:

Orlo Reedy was a handsome man and loved to dance. He was a mischeivous person. Orlo had no children.

Orlo Reedy

Orlo A. Reedy, 83, of 2940 Glenn St., died Thursday in his home. He was a supervisor 37 years at the former Electric Autolite Co., retiring in 1961. He was an Army veteran of World War I. Surviving are his wife, Theresa and stepdaughter, Mrs. Orlean Zeigler. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the H. H. Birkenkamp Mortuary, Trilby, Ohio.

Notes for FAYNE REEDY:

Fayne died suddenly when her daughter was about 2 years of age. The doctors didn't know what was wrong with her. Fayne's husband reared their little girl.

Fayne Simon was the wife of George T. Simon. Burial was from the Boyer-Kruse Mortuary.
