He was killed while riding his bike down to see his 100 year old sister
at the Nursing Home on the corner from the farm where he lived.  He was
found along the roadside and died from the injuries sustained when a
car ran him off the road.

He taught penmanship in evenings to those who could obtain instruction during
the day and also taught piano & organ lessons for  22 years. He carried on
a general farming, stock raising and dairy business.
