There are many large ethnic communities in the Cleveland area. The German community is one of them. My ancestors, on both my paternal and maternal sides, were part of this community. Therefore, as a result of my research, I have many items and resources to share with others. Below are some items that may be of help, and lead you to other places that could possibly help you with your German ancestor research. If you come across any other places or items of use, please let me know and I'll check them out for addition here. This is just the beging for this page, so check back often to see what has been added.

Lorraine "Sunny" Newsome, my co-coordinator, passed away recently. Shortly afterwards this site was attacked by a MALWARE. When it was discovered, the site was appropriately shut down by Rootsweb. Non-infected files have been uploaded but in the process some files were lost as they were ones Sunny had worked on and I did not have copies at all or have outdated copies. Please let me know about any missing or broken links. | |
