BREHM, BRIGHT, FEICK, FIKE, FORNAUF, WRIGHT posted by Ronna L. Todd on Monday, March 1, 1999

Searching for info on Catherine FEICK or FIKE. She came with her widowed mother & siblings (Fred, Philip, Andrew, Jacob, Peter, George, and Katharina) to US in 1849 from Germany. Her mother (Margaret (FORNAUF) FEICK) settled in Sandusky OH, then bought land & moved to Crawford Co. At least some of the family moved to Putnam Co. in 1852. One source says Catherine married John BREHM in Crawford Co, 30 Aug 1856. Other sources say that she married Jacob BRIGHT or Jacob WRIGHT, but I have no proof. Thank you. Ronna Todd

DICKSON, FRAZEE, TUSTISON posted by Gary Tustison on Sunday, March 21, 1999

I have an ancestor named Maria TUSTISON who was born 19 Aug 1818 in Philadelphia and moved to Crawford Co. with her parents. She married William DICKSON, who I believe was a son of Andrew DICKSON and Elizabeth FRAZEE (married 1797?) Marie and William had no children of their own, but raised eight orphaned (?) children. I have some names from Census, but not very reliable and I wondered if any of them were buried in the Dickson cemetery. I am also searching for the graves of Maria and William. I hope they are buried there? Maria's older brother Mathias TUSTISON married Sarah DICKSON on 24 Jul 1874 in Crawford County. I believe Sarah DICKSON was William DICKSON's sister. Sarah was born 13 Mar 1813, but I'm not certain where. What other brothers and sisters were there in the DICKSON family. I do understand there were several DICKSONs in Crawford County at the time. I assume they were all related, but I do not know the relationship. Any clues or direction either of you could give would be appreciated.

MCMANUS, ROBISON posted by Tom Robison on Tuesday, March 23, 1999

My Great-great-Uncle Robert ROBISON was born in Perry Co. PA, and moved to Crawford Co. Ohio at age 12 with his parents. His first wife was his first cousin, Mary Ann ROBISON. His second wife was another first cousin, Esther MCMANUS ROBISON. Robert and Esther married 21 Jun 1853. They had six children, three of whom died young, and therein lies my question. Records indicate that their third child, John E., was born 29 Sep 1862 and died 5 Sep 1865. Records also indicate that their fourth child, Richard A., was born 5 Sep 1865 and died 10 Oct 1865. It would indeed be an ironic and bittersweet event to have a child die on the same day that another was born. Can someone verify these dates?

RICHARDSON posted by Eric B. Richardson on Sunday, March 28, 1999

RICHARDSON Family Tree My great-great-great-great grandparents are buried in the Galion Cemetery, the RICHARDSONs from Northumberton County, England, whom I believe arrived around the 1830's. I have a great-grandfather, I think, Scott, who was murdered, around 1900. Most recent relatives there would be Glen and Isabel RICHARDSON, both died in Galion in the 1980's, I think. They were great-uncle and aunt. Any info you have would be appreciated concerning this family line.
