Many Ohioans have expressed a desire to learn about, restore and preserve the singular stonework, sculpture, and heritage unique to the cemetery environment, but have no idea what resources are available or who to contact. The OCPS will function as a non-profit clearinghouse to gather and disseminate information, organize projects, raise funds, and coordinate with other organizations with similar goals.

Our primary mission will be to increase the awareness and historic value of our cemeteries as sources of community and state pride and encourage groups and individuals to help preserve them as landmarks for future generations to appreciate.
