Historical Society of Columbiana and Fairfield Townships Columbiana, 0H 44408. The Museum is open:from "The first weekend in June to Labor Day week end" on Saturdays & Sundays, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM each day. The week after labor day is our Street Fair week, the hours are Thurs. and Friday evening, Sat. 1 PM to 9 PM. For other hours, you may contact us by mail giving a phone number where you may be reached or, there are phone numbers listed on the front of the Museum Annex. No admission is charged, donation are requested. Annual Membership Fees: $7.50 single, $10.00 family $15.00 Contributing $200.00 life $350.00 Patron. We have 65 vertical files indexed on our computer, plus a card file and a names ledger from these documents. Our material concerns only Columbiana Village and Fairfield Twp. Volunteers are available on Tuesdays, 10-11 A.M. to help with genealogical research. Our trustees require a $5.00 donation if material is requested by mail. A search and 5 copies will be furnished for this fee. Additional copies will be billed at $.20 per copy. A SASE is also requested. Be sure to include the name, dates, etc. you want searched and whatever clues you may have to define search. |

Western Columbiana County Historical Society Homeworth, Ohio 44634 The society is located in the Old Middle Sandy Presbyterian Church in Homeworth, Ohio. The museum is open periodically during the summer months. The society meets about 4 times a year. The dues are $6.00 per year with other options available. The museum has just had an extensive renovation completed in 1997. Many articles to the museum were donated by local persons who live or lived in the western part of the county. |
