Wood Cemetery
Off Haul Road and Turkeyfoot Road, Washington Twonship

Directions: Take St. Rt. 52 from New Richmond to
Moscow. As you exit the Village of
Moscow turn left on St. Rt. 743. Pass Fruit Ridge Road, pass
Brown Road, turn right onto
Haul Road. This is a gated entrance and you will have to call
Washington Township:
Township Hall Address & Phone, 2238 Highway 756. Moscow, Ohio
45153.
Phone 513-553-2072 or 553-4593 and have them make arrangements to have
the gate
open for you. After entering the gate – keep to your
left. Stay on this gravel road until
you reach the cemetery. It is a ways back and if
you have an average size car the weeds
get pretty high on this driveway so ride the side a little
bit. Easy access after you arrive except for the bees.

The cemetery was in pretty good shape. I dug a lot of the
Wood family
stones. I also found some new stones. Summer
warning: I encountered
two different types of bees nest in the cemetery. The bumble
bees had
a large nest in the ground and the yellow jackets (sand bees) also had
two nests. Learned to run a lot that day. I believe
within their area was
the Dudd burials that I was not able to find.
