Pictures and additional inscriptions taken by Pamela Smith, CCGS
volunteer, in Spring of 2008. I am
glad I had the opportunity
to visit this cemetery as some of the stones only have a few more years
until
they will no longer be readable. There are some very
old Clermont families buried here and I enjoyed
probing and
photographing these stones. There were two Civil War Veteran
stones that were not
previously recorded and I did have to do some
additional library research as I could not decipher the
stones. A lot of the stones were broke but I was able to
determine who they belonged to by just one
part of the inscription.
Stones I could not locate previously recorded:
Butler, Thomas; Bodin, Mary A; Perry, Samuel (with dates of 1875-1927)
