EATON, Gary D. Sr. �
Urbana Daily Citizen, Wednesday, 3 March 2010 Gary D. Eaton, Sr., age 54, of Saint Paris went to be with the Lord on
Monday, March 1, 2010 at 8:42 p.m. in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana. He was born in Urbana on July 6, 1955 to the late Lloyd and Margaret
(Bricker) Eaton. He retired in 2004 from Beach Manufacturing of St. Paris after having health
issues. He was a 1974 graduate of Graham High School. Gary is survived by his wife, the former Kimberly Lawson whom he married on 3
October 1980. He is also survived by two sons, Gary (Holli) Eaton of St. Paris,
Lloyd Eaton, III of St. Paris, one grandson, Bryant Eaton, three brothers, Terry
Eaton of Bellefontaine, Donald Eaton of Saint Paris, Jack Cotterman of Oregon,
three sisters, Linda Baker of Thackery, Pat Dovel of Thackery, Charlene Miles of
Dayton, several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by close friends,
Roger and Missy Pope of Springhills. He was preceded in death by his parents,
and two brothers, Bob Cotterman and Lloyd Eaton, Jr. Gary enjoyed spending time
with his wife, family and his favorite dog, Jason. He enjoyed going to Shady
Bowl and Kilkare Speedway to watch his son Gary, Jr. race during the summer. He
also enjoyed watching his other son Lloyd bowl. He loved to work on cars and
helped anyone in need. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday at
11:00 a.m. in Rosedale Cemetery with Reverend Gary Morgan of the Urbana Church
of the Nazarene presiding. Visitation for family and friends will be held on
Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 E.
Springfield St., Saint Paris. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial
donations be made to Midwest Dialysis, the American Diabetes Association, or the
Kidney Association. Envelopes will be available in the funeral home.

Death of Mrs EBERT
The remains of Mrs Elizabeth EBERT, wife of G T EBERT, was taken to Urbana
Wednesday at 10:21 over the Big Four and taken to the Clements Cemetery for
burial in the family plot. Rev D J BOATRIGHT, pastor of the Christian Church
conducted the services at the grave. Mrs EBERT died at her home southwest
of Mahomet Tuesday morning at 7:20 after a long illness, due to a complications
of diseases. She was born in Champaign County, Ohio, nearly 74 years ago
and had been a resident of this county for the past forty years. For many
years the family resided near the Contennial Church, northeast of Urbana
and for several years has resided at Mahomet. The deceased is survived by
her husband and two sons, Irvin EBERT who resides a short distance north
of Urbana and Joseph EBERT who resides in Danville. Mrs EBERT has been a
member of the Newlight church since girlhood.

EISAMAN--Urbana Daily Citizen August 20, 1976
Dora M. Eisaman
Mrs. Dora M. Eisaman, 83, of 131 Lincoln Pl. died at 3.55 p.m. Thursday in
Mercy Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for a few days. Born
April 1, 1893 in Concord Twp., a daughter of Charley and Sarah McNeal Williams,
she had lived in Urbana since 1946. Prior to that time she lived in Pickaway
County. Mrs. Eisaman was a member of the Kingscreek United Methodist Church,
where she served as a teacher of the Sisterhood Class for many years. She
was a 50 year member of the Pythian Sisters No. 366 of Ashville, also a 50
year member and a Past Noble Grand of the Urbana Rebekah's Lodge No. 188.
She was a member of the O.K. Grandmothers Club of Urbana. She was a retired
house parent from the Columbus School for the Blind. Her husband, Melvin
preceded her in death in 1946; one sister and two brothers are also deceased.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edgar (Mary) Kingman of Lakewood and
one son, Melvin of Aurora, Colo., five grandchildren and three brothers;
Harry Williams of Urbana, Edgar Williams, Bellefontaine and McKinley Williams
of Lancaster; also a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be held
Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Walter Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilbur Riley,
retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Dale Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 7 to 9 p.m.
The Rebekah Lodge will conduct services at 8 p.m. Sunday and will be followed
by a service of the O.K. Grandmothers Club.

EISAMAN--Urbana Daily Citizen December 16, 1946
Melvin Oscar Eisaman, 76, 303 Lincoln Place, died suddenly at 1:15 p. m.
Saturday of a heart attack in his residence. He was a member of the Methodist
church of Ashville, Ohio. Knights of Pythian and Odd Fellows lodges. For
several years, he operated a farm near Lockbourne army air force base, south
of Columbus. He and his family moved to Urbana in July, establishing their
residence on Lincoln Place. Surviving are the widow, Dora; one daughter,
Mary Sarah; one son, Melvin Eisaman, both at home, and one brother, Francis
of Napoleon, Ohio. The body was removed to the Humphreys and Son Co. funeral
home and was returned to the residence Sunday. Funeral services are to be
held at 2 p. m. Tuesday in the Kingscreek Methodist church in charge of the
Rev. H. D. Cooper. Burial is to be made in Oak Dale Cemetery.

ERRETT, John Douglas �Doug� � Urbana Daily Citizen, Thursday, 22 April 2010 John Douglas �Doug� Errett, 86, of Terre Haute, passed away Tuesday, April
20, 2010 in the Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana. He was born November 12, 1923 in Springfield, OH the son of William Tennyson
and Dorothy (Roddy) Errett. Doug served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII as an Airplane
Mechanic. He was a member of the Terre Haute United Methodist Church as well as the
Beech Grove Grange, the Ohio State Grange and was a past Deputy of the Champaign
and Clark County Grange. Doug loved to fish, read, hunt mushrooms and travel. He
and Betty had visited nearly all 50 United States with the exception of Alaska
and Hawaii. After retiring he worked part time for the Mad River Township
Trustees. He is survived by his wife, Betty Errett of Terre Haute; his son, Bob
(Debbie) Errett of Terre Haute; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Errett of St. Paris,
his grandchildren, John (Kris) Errett, Tony (Leanna) Errett, Justin (Jill)
Errett, 10 great grandchildren; his sisters, Jean (Richard) Sheets of Urbana and
Margie Leonard of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his son, Dick Errett; his daughter,
Marilyn E. Errett; his great granddaughter, Virginia Errett; and his brothers,
Charles, Jack and Paul Errett. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday,
April 23, 2010 in the Vernon Funeral Home, 235 Miami St., Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2010 in
the Terre Haute United Methodist Church with the Rev. Frank Kampel officiating.
Burial will follow in Terre Haute Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association National

Marilyn E. Errett, 61, of Piqua passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007 in Mercy Medical Center, Springfield. She was born April 3, 1945 in Urbana, the daughter of John Douglas and Betty E. (Baker) Errett.
Marilyn graduated in 1963 from Graham High School; she furthered her education, receiving a bachelor degree in music from Morehead State University and her master's degree in education form Mount Saint Joseph College.
She retired in 1997 after 30 years of service at Piqua City Schools as an elementary music teacher. Music was her passion in life. Marilyn was part of the Errett's Singing Group along with her brothers and her nephew. She loved to help with school musicals, pianist from many different churches with the choirs and with bible school. She taught piano lessons from many years to many students. She was an avid reader. Marilyn was a member of the Terre Haute United Methodist Church and she was president of the United Methodist Women. She was a member of the Miami County Retired Teacher's Association and the Ohio & National Teacher's Association. Marilyn was a kind and thoughtful person who will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Marilyn is survived by her parents, John and Betty Errett of Terre Haute, her brothers, Dick (Jennifer) Errett of St. Paris and Bob (Debbie) Errett of Terre Haute, her nephews, John (Kris), Tony (Leanna) Justin (Jill), Clayton (Fianc�e Hillery) and Mitchell Errett, nine great-nieces and nephews, as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandniece, Virginia Errett, and by many other relatives.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 on Monday, Feb. 26, 2007 in the Vernon Funeral Home, 235 Miami St., Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007 in the Terre Haute United Methodist Church, Terre Haute with the Rev. Frank Kampel and Rev. William Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Terre Haute Cemetery.

February 2007 Herman C. Evans, 86, of Saint Paris, passed away at 10:31
p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007 in his residence. He was born Oct. 31, 1920 in
Champaign County to the late Henry R. and Ethel Faye (Mahan) Evans. He married
Helen Mae Hines on April 13, 1941 and she preceded him in death on Aug. 27,
2006. He is survived by four children: Fred Deal (Janet) Evans of
Saint Paris, Sue Ann Geuy of Rosewood, Robert (Becky) Evans of Conover, and
Nancy (David) Roach of Huber Heights; 11 grandchildren: Brandon Evans, Gaylyn
Diehl, Amanda Evans, Justin Evans, Michelle Bashore, Lynette Hageman, Ryan Geuy,
Chris Batdorf, Jared Evans, Jennifer Vincent, and Aaron Vincent; six
great-grandchildren: Alison Evans, Carter Evans, David Jordan, MaKalia Hageman,
Logan Bashore and Carmen Geuy. His parents, wife, a son, Donald Evans; sister, Phyllis Evans
Bollinger, son-in-law, Tom Geuy; father and mother-in-law, William Clarence
Hines and Eva Francis (sic) Nichols Hines all preceded him in death. Herman was a 1938 graduate of Rosewood High School. He was a
member of Northtowne Church of God in Sidney. Engaged in farming all of his
life, Herman also served on the Johnson Twp. Zoning Board, Mt. Pleasant Bowling
Team, Toastmasters, and he was a member of Gideon's International. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007 in the
Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield St., Saint. Paris with Reverend
Merle Laws presiding. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation for family
and friends will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007 from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral
home. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the funeral service on
Thursday. Memorial donations may be made to The Gideon's International, P. O.
Box 394, Urbana, Ohio 43078. Memorial envelopes will be available at the church.
Charles Henry ESPY, 79, died at his home in Rosewood this morning (Thursday)
at 7:15. The body was brought to the Bert Richeson funeral home and will
be returned to the home Friday morning.
The deceased was a retired farmer and was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge,
K. of P Lodge and had at one time served two terms as County Commissioner.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, two daughters, Mrs. J. W. BIRKHOLD, Conover,
and Mrs. F.E. BAILOR , of Rosewood; and one son, R. H. ESPY, address unknown.
He also leaves a half-brother, W. K. RITTER, Cleveland and a half-sister,
Estella RUSSELL, of DeGraff. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2
p.m. from the Rosewood U.B. Church in charge of Rev. S. L. Brill, pastor.
Burial will be in the Carysville cemetery.
EVERINGHAM -- ST. PARIS NEWS-DISPATCH, Thurs. 10 July 1919 EVILSIZOR, Esther W. Turner � Piqua Daily Call, Monday, 11 January 2010 Esther W. Evilsizor, 90, of Piqua, passed away at 8:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9,
2010, in Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born Feb. 18, 1919, in
Champaign County, the daughter of John and Minnie (Blue) Turner. She married
Kenneth W. Evilsizor on June 12, 1943, and he survives in Piqua. She also is
survived by three daughters and their spouses, Debbie and Dan Westfall of Piqua,
Bonnie Austin of Troy and Connie and Ron Copen of Piqua; two grandchildren, Kim
and Nathan; and two great grandchildren, Zac and Cody. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ronnie Evilsizor; three
sisters, Hazel Smith, Mae Wallace and Lucille Wilson; and two brothers, Henry
and Sam Turner. Esther was a 1937 graduate of Allen Center High School. She was a homemaker
all of her life. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday in the Suber-Shively Funeral
Home, 201 W. Main Street, Fletcher. Burial will follow in Upper Honey Creek
Cemetery, S. Elm Tree Road, St. Paris. Visitation for family and friends will be
held from 10 a.m. until the time of the services at 12 p.m. Tuesday in the

charity of your choice. Evilsizor, Robert Lynn "Bob" - Urbana Daily Citizen, Monday,
12 February 2007 Robert Lynn "Bob" Evilsizor, 53, of St. Paris, died at 3:20
p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 2007 in Hospice of Dayton. He was born April 3, 1953 in Clarksville, Tenn., a son of
Robert and Juanita (Riggins) Evilsizor. Bob was a 1972 graduate of Urbana High School and served in
the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era Conflict. He was a member of the
First Church of God in St. Paris and an over the road truck driver for the last
18 years, most recently with Rising Sun Express. Previously, Bob had various
other occupations including over seven years with Midland Ross Grimes Division. He was an outstanding best friend, love, provided and hero to
his wife Deb (Gill) whom he married Nov. 28, 1985 and he was a very loving and
caring father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife; children Eric (Nichole), Stefanie
(Anthony), Emily (Eric) all of Springfield, Sarah (T. J.) of St. Paris, Roberta
"Bobbi" (Tony) of Urbana and Desiree of St. Paris; grandchildren Sabrina,
Olivia, Vicki Paige, Zoe Beth, Robert Lynn "Roby" and Garrett; mother Juanita of
Piqua; brother Ken (Darla) of Racine, Wis.; sisters Teresa (Bruce) of Piqua, Kim
(Mel) of Troy; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded in death by his father Robert in 1980. Memorial
services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007 in the First Church of
God, 122 E. Walnut Street, St. Paris with Pastor Dick Keeran and Pastor Terry
Gray officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 6 p.m. until
time of service. Bob has requested that you not send flowers of any kind to
the service, but to please make memorial contributions in his memory for Desiree
to the Champaign National Bank, 828 Scioto St., Urbana, OH 43078. The family would appreciate everyone attending the visitation
or memorial service to dress casually. The family is being served by the Walter-Schoedinger Funeral Home, Urbana.
The death of Chas. B. EVERINGHAM occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Wm. WILSON in Christianburg last evening. Funeral service will be conducted
from the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will take place in
the Fletcher cemetery.
Mr. EVERINGHAM was born at Trenton, N. J., January 4, 1835. For many years
he followed the occupation, carpenter at Lena, Ohio. His wife preceded him
in death six years ago. Surviving him are three sons: Frank of Lena, William
and Clem of Fletcher and the daughter, Mrs. WILSON.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Rosewood United Brethren
Church for Mrs. Hazel EVERINGHAM, 46, who died Saturday at the home of her
sister, Mrs. Norma CALLAND, in Piqua. Burial was in Rosedale cemetery by
Bert Richeson, funeral director.
Mrs. EVERINGHAM whose home was about three miles southeast of Rosewood had
been ill for two months and is survived by her husband, Freeman EVERINGHAM;
one son, Charles H., at homes: two brothers, Carey HARMON, Tremont City,
and Augustus HARMON, Conover; and three sisters, Mrs. CALLAND, Mrs. Frank
PURK, St. Paris, and Mrs. Rudy BOONE, Rosewood
