I am interested in gathering some information of the old J. Smith/ H. S. Watkins house located on Rt 36 west of Urbana. The house was located on land previously owned by Raymond Phelps that was purchased by the State of Ohio. The structure/ house was demoished in ca, 1970. I was wondering if anybody had any information of the construction of the house, what it looked like, was it always a house or was there a business purpose of the structure, who built it, are there any photographs of it, was it a stage coach stop on the way to St Paris, where did all the brick come from etc. If anyone has any information on this structure, please let me know. Thank you Dawn Walter
