CENSUS BOOKS 1850 – 1870 – 1880   big markdowns unbelievable low price 1850 CENSUS Hardbound 532 pages, completely indexed, the first Census that names the resident, spouse and children, and other members of the household, age, occupation, where born, real or personal property.  Well over 18,000 entries - 1870 CENSUS information, same as above, with much effort researching the surnames to make sure they were spelled correctly. Softbound, 463 pages 1880 CENSUS, information as above, very helpful, great effort to make sure surnames were spelled correctly softbound, 421 pages.

Directory Crawford County OH 1900 and Bucyrus City Directories 1892-93 and 1888–1889 softbound – 540 pages {because the pages were made bigger, it enhances the tedious old style margins} the information is wonderful!  Many pictures – gives residence of township where the family resided, making it easier to research the 1900 Census which is not indexed. Includes Gillis Bucyrus City & Business Directory Feb. 1888-1889  Citizens and business firms with very interesting ads, city, township and county officers, churches, teachers, schools, societies and public institutions, complete list of streets and alphabetical list of names, occupation and addresses. - Second section Gillis Bucyrus 1892-1893 same as above for different years. Divorce Proceedings of Crawford County Ohio Softbound 270 pages contains records on microfilm, the early 1830’s in the Journals and files from Common Pleas into the 1970’s.  The records are complex to locate in the Court as they are included with all other cases without an index to Divorces also gives children in the custody case, when named. Families of Crawford County Ohio (written in ) 1977/78 about hundreds of pioneer families soft bound cover over 868 pages Biographical book, not a county history, families residing in the county with a collection of 314 sketches with much ancestral lineage listed.  The book was very successful, and was re-printed.

Pioneers (1850) to Crawford County 116 pages, the book gives the names of all applicants for the pioneer project; no personal information is given in this book.

Postcard collection $10.00 (700 photos) on computer CD from Jim and Evelyn Gebhardt collection – all sales go to Bucyrus Library to replace broken microfilm of the newspapers which costs $70 each roll or more.

Rural Schools of Crawford County, Ohio.  700 pages – Softbound laminated red cover with pictures of Schools.  Index contains nearly 16,000 names with around 800 class pictures or souvenir from the teacher to the students.  The history of 147 schools is included and descriptive township maps. Over 800 books were sold in a short time.

Veteran’s Book 2002 – LIBERTY REMEMBERS:  Veterans and Servicemen/Women of Crawford Co. OH. 540 pages, Beautiful hard bound cover designed by Kathy Grohe in color. The very short time this book was in circulation sold nearly 1400 copies!) Based on the Liberty Remembers mural (depicted in full color) it contains around 800 stories with pictures.
