STAMPER http://stampergenealogy.simplenet.com. From: - Golden Combs Ferguson (Aug 17, 1999)
I am researching the STAMPER family name. The Stampers have their roots in Wilkes Co, NC; and Eastern Kentucky. Stampers are located all over the U.S.; but, a lot of the families have settled in Ohio; especially the southern part of the state .... Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio areas. Right now, I am looking for ANY Stamper; hoping to fill in some blanks. I am a member of the Stamper Family Association, Inc; and the Breathitt County Genealogy and Historical Society. In addition to Stamper information, would like information on ANY Breathitt County families and their connection. We are striving to have as complete information as possible on our families so it is available to those doing research in our Breathitt County Library and Genealogy section. Thank you so much for any help you may be able to supply. Take care....and happy hunting!

SNIVELY (HENRY) ROSSVILLE 1850. From: - Marilyn Blake (Sep 1, 1999)
Is anyone researching the Snively Family? Henry Snively was a cousin of my ancestor, John W. Christman of Preble County. Snively hosted a visit from John in 1849-50 just after John's mother died. I am in possession of a copy of a handwritten letter from Henry to John which I am willing to share with anyone researching the Snively family. I believe Henry may have been related to Samuel and Sophia of Rossville (1850) - possibly their son? I am trying to resolve a family mystery hinted at in this document and wonder if a Snively may have the letter written by my great-grandfather John W. Christman.
