PETERSON (John and Rebecca Jane LARISON) Middletown in 1918-1924. From: - Toni Vogel (Feb 14, 1998)
Both John and his wife Rebecca are burried in the Middletown cemetery. I'm trying to locate the Parish in which John was born in Sweden. I was told that it may be on his headstone or in Alien Register if he was not a citizen in 1918. Truthfully, I don't know. His birth date stated on his death certificate says 24 Oct. 1873. His father's name was also John born in sweden as well. Don't know mother's maiden name. John died in 1921 his wife in 1924. Does anyone have access to this information? Thanks for you advice! Toni

William died sometime in 1912-1915. Ella and her sons, William, Eugene, Albert, and George Edward came to Middletown for work (I am told) at the paper mill. Trying to find what happened to everyone except George Edward who married Della HITE in 1932. They were my grandparents.

Samuel and Barbara are my great great grandparents. Their daughter, Barbara, married my great grandfather, John Fischer (Fisher), who arrived from near Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany ca1836 along with two brothers, Christian and Jacob. I assume all stayed in Butler County long enough for naturalization. Subsequent moves were to Indiana (Lafayette area). John Fisher relocated to Iowa ca1850 where I come in. Hope you can help trace these ancestors. Thank you.

Looking for Cassie Marie NICHOLAS, if her name wasn`t changed at adoption. Cassie Marie Nicholas was sent to Clermont Co. welfare for adoption in early to mid 1970. I am using my girlfriends computer, She is also helping me in my search for my sister. I remember a family member, her name was Ethyl, taking care of her for a short time until she called Clermont Co. Ohio welfare services who adopted her out. Don`t know year of adoption she was between 5 and 7. Her name was Cassie Marie Nicholas. she has a brother named Scott, and three sister. Her dads name is Cosmas Riso Nicholas, he was called Cass. Her mothers name is Patricia Lee Nicholas, Maiden name Anderson. They were divorced when Cassie was young. We lived in a trailor park in Goshen, Ohio called Gaslight Viliage. John and Mary were married either in Kentucky or Indiana and settled in Reily Township and raised a large family. We are related to his son William Morris Sr. who was a lawyer in Cincinnati and had his home in Carthage.

I'm attemting to find John D. Morris's father. He was born in 1814. He came to Shandon from Wales and became a naturalized citizen in 1823. There is an Evan Morris buried in the old Shandon Cematery. John had a son named Evan James Morris. I'd like to know if the older Evan Morris was Johns relative??
