I have been looking for a very long time for information on my Great-Great-Grandmother, and I hope you can help me. Lousia Ellenor Hunter was born on 02 October 1843 in Trenton Ohio. Her family traveled through Vandalia, near Effingham Illinois where she was married to Richard Meek and gave birth to her first son James Hunter. Shortly thereafter Lousia gave birth to her second son Samuel Barton Meek, and the family moved to Butler and Carter County Missouri, where Richard Died. Lousia, then married Richard's brother Samuel Meek and the family moved to Beaver County Oklahoma where they bought land and settled. Louisa Hunter Meek developed breast cancer and died in Beaver County 27 April 1892. This is all the information that I have, would you know of anything else? Can you help me?

They were in Ford Co., Illinois in 1850-1865. They were in Monroe, Missouri in 1870. Anna was living with her son in Ford Co., Illinois in 1880. Anna died 1 Aug 1883 in Oxford, Kansas. David Crows lived in Miltonville until his death in the 1880's. His wife Eliza Law and her father and grandfather were some of the first settlers in the area. Both her father (James) and grandfather (Simpson) were in of the Revolutionary war. They had many children and still have decendents in Butler County.

They married in 1855 & children were Catharine, Caroline, Elizabeth, & Margaret, all born in Hamilton, Conrad died November 22, 1878, and Catherine died June 4,1825.. Both are buried in Greenwood Cemetery. Their daughter Catherine married Frederic Lotz, Caroline married John Hoffman, Elizabeth married Fred Herold and Margaret died Feb 2, 1879 after receiving accidental burns at the age of 16 years.

John & Louisa's children were Lenore, Wilhemina, William, Marie, Robert & Arthur. Lenore married Daniel Young & lived in Oxford; Wilhemina married Charles Wellbaum and lived in Dayton; William married Florence Dorenbusch and lived in Hamilton; Marie married Calvin Fitzgerald and lived in Detroit, MI, Columbus, OH. & Middletown; Robert married Celia Lotz in Hamilton; and Arthur remained a bachelor and spent most of his life in Chicago, IL I am looking for Louise's parents whose father's name may be John? I believe Louise had a brother living in Iowa, and one in Seven Mile, OH. and a sister Magdalene who married a Tennyson and had a daughter Margarite, who married Robert Dilg.

I am looking for any information on Alexander Downie who was born 1832 in Currie Scotland. His wife was Jane Henderson. They had at least 6 children born in the following years. Catherine (1856), Alexander (1858), Margaret (1860), Jane (1862), James (1864), George (1870). I lose track of them around 1873. Alexander had brothers named David, William, and John also living in Butler Co. at the same time. He was a paper worker, possibly at Becketts Paper as his brothers worked there.

I am looking for any information on the family of William Downie and his wife Rosanna. William was born in 1836 in Currie Scotland. The names of their children and their dates of birth are: Rosanna (1858), William (1866), Margaret (1869) William had brothers names ALexander, Davis and John. He is listed as a papermaker in the 1870 census. As his brothers worked at the Beckett Mill I assume he did as well.

I have an obituary of Caroline (Finn) Ernst, that states she was survived by five sisters, the obituary did not give the first names of the sisters, but gave the following names, does anyone recognize these names. Mrs. Richard Layden, Mrs. Charles Rottger, Mrs. Louis Baumann, Mrs. Frank Wopperer. These are the sisters married names, but would like to know which sister goes to which husband.
