Only 3 tombstones are readable, though there are pieces of tombstones scattered.  Tombstones could easily be buried.  I could not find a list of burials for this cemetery.  The Cemetery is located off Deer Ridge Court on the North Side of the Road toward the new Route 129 Highway.  There is a 3’ easement between 2 houses.  The MapQuest link gets you close but does not accurately place the cemetery.

** August 7, 1997 Pulse Journal article by John Niehaus shows a much better photograph giving the age and better name.  The phrase “Whig of ‘76” is supposed to be on the bottom of John Ayer’s tombstone.  That has not been confirmed nor has a decent photograph been obtained at this time- 7/14/2005.

According to Revolutionary War Veterans research prepared by Brian Bauer in a 1974 Eagle Scout project, found in the Middletown Library- John Ayres, a Revolutionary War Veteran is buried in this cemetery.
