Robert H MILLER came to St. Clairsville a young man and succeeded Alexander Armstrong in the newspaper business. He was considered a Mason. a sensational writer and a good citizen. He filled the office of clerk of the courts from 1846 to 1850. He died August 15, 1850, and his remains were interred in the "Union Cemetery".
