Looking for information on Edward T. Gerrard. He is listed in the 1920 census with his wife Sara M and several children. I am trying to confirm if this is the same Edward Gerrard who was married to Mary Ellen McComb, who died in 1912. Can anyone confirm is Sara is Edward T. Gerrards' second wife and that the children listed in the 1920 Census (Mary, Charles, William and Elizabeth) are Sara's step children? Any assistance would be much appreciated.

I have an old affidavit from 1895 told by Simeon MORRIS of Belmont Co near Powhattan Point. He mentions a cousin Bettie Morris, neighbors Albert Carpenter, Bettie Morris lived on the George Shafer farm and a Wm Loudius who lived on the Daniels farm. It seems his wife and he wittnessed a lighting bolt strike albert Carpenters grain stack causing it to burn down in the year 1875. I am not sure why 17 years later (1895) he is telling this sworn statement to a notary in Marshall County WV. Can anyone help me figure this out? Does anyone know of these families? I found this while getting my Grandmothers belongings ready for auction. She (Lena)Walters and used to live on Emory WALTERS Rd, CLover Ridge, Belmont Co. I do not know why she would even have this affidavit in her possesion. Emory WALTERs was related to a CARPENTER but I do not know this Albert CARPENTER. PLEASE HELP! kristi krug cleveland, oh USA

I am looking for information on William A Criswell. He was married to Adah Pear Alan or (Smith), they were div. in 1938-or 39, in Bridgeport. They had eleven children together, some remained with Adah and most were adopted out. William died in Bridgeport in 1939, shortly after their div. He died of an illness, I am looking for his obituary and place of burial, and any other information about him or his children that were adopted out. I do know some of the childrens names: Lawerence (Casey) Criswell, Harvey Criswell (smith)born 9-8-1914 died 1-26-92 died in Billings, MT., William Criswell born 5-30-1918, died 2-1978 in Seattle, Wa., Lewis Arlington Criswell born 12-8-1920 in bridgeport died 12-28-1987 in Yakima, Wa., Louise Criswell (Foreman) . Any information would be greatly appricated.

India PRATT married Miles WORKMAN in Belmont County, OH in January, 1882. They had four children by 1897. A newspaper item said India passed away in March,1898 at Bellaire. If someone can enlighten me as to whom I should contact for more information on India's death, such as funeral directors, churches, etc. I would appreciate it. It might be that India is buried at Davis cemetery. Thank you.
