LAFAYETTE ("LAFE" OR "BUCK") ISAAC TROUTEN was born March 03, 1869 in ScotchRidge, Martins Ferry, Belmont County, Ohio. and died February 11, 1939.
Hemarried (1) FLORENCE KIDD - TROUTEN.
He married (2) MARY AGNES RICHNER -TROUTEN March 30, 1904, daughter of AMOS RICHNER and CAROLYN BEWLEY.
Miscellaneous Notes:
From Carson J. Cox's family research notes in September of 1998:
"LAFAYETTE ISSAC TROUTEN married FLORENCE KIDD. They had one child, LAWRENCELEROY TROUTEN. She died shortly after he was born. Before failing, she askedher first cousin, MARY AGNES RICHNER, to care for the infant. LAFAYETTE ISAACTROUTEN then married MARY AGNES. (ELEANOR {Eleanor Trouten-Cox} was adamantin stating that LAWRENCE was raised as her full brother. Even thoughtechnically he would have been a half-brother.) "
Lafayette & Mary Agnes had 7 children. One of those was my Grandmother,Eleanor. CHAMBERS, John Watson and GELLER, Catherine Ann

Source:My great-great grandfather John Watson Chambers married Catherine Ann Gelleron June 15, 1854, in Belmont County, Ohio. I have the original marriagecertificate, as well as a copy of the marriage license. The originalmarriage certificate was found in an old family bible.
