You came into my life when I was full of pain,
You showed me how to smile and laugh once again,
You touched at where the softness came from my weary heart,
You painted lots of pictures to fill my life with art.
Colours on the palette splashed vivid and true blue,
Reflecting all the vibrance that I can see in you,
You gave me all your loving when I least did expect,
I tell you that I love you and cherish your respect.
I show you all my smiles and what the day has been,
I see the pretty flowers to share with you the scene,
I breath the air that freshens the path you will now walk,
I love to hold your hand and hear your soft voice talk.
For in my busy day theres always room for you,
To have and hold and love all the minutes through,
Gentle as the moment that comes to pass us by,
Filled with love and caring until the day we die.
