To the East: Fairfield County, CT; Long Island Sound; Queens County (across the Long Island Sound); Nassau County across the Long Island Sound
To the South: Bronx County, NY; New York County (Manhattan), NY
To the West: the Hudson River; Rockland County, NY; New Jersey
