The following list of genealogical resources for Westchester County, NY has been prepared as a reference to aid you in your research. The first section covers those areas at the county level, followed by the various towns and cities of Westchester County. Beneath the towns, are listed incorporated villages or unincorporated areas just associated with a particular post office.

Focus On ...

Since March 1996, the WCGS newsletter has run a series of articles, entitled "Focus on ...", highlighting additional historical and genealogical information about particular areas of Westchester County. Those areas that have been highlighted are indicated with and the issue in which it appeared.  Reprints from the newsletters are available for $2 each.
