I am looking for any information about Catharine Wormuth and Wallace Hill families, relative to a "Special Examiner's Report" (JHL Eager, Special Examiner, from Auburn, NY, as the purpose of this report states: "concerning testimony of Catherine Wormuth and Wallace Hill were attached by me this day because the violation of the law was committed in Sullivan Co., N.Y. (Southern Dist.) & comes up for hearing in New York City, Nov. 18, 1884." The attachment the examiner made was to my grandfather's Civil War Pension Papers. The hearing noted was of an attorney from Downsville, Delaware Co., by the name of John T. Odwell, who was accused of defrauding Mrs. Wormuth, Wallace Hill, and my grandfather, among others. I am looking for any information about the Wormuth and Hill families.
