John and Mary Jones arrived to America from Wales in Between 1869 and 1873.
John Jones was born 1816 at Troedyraur, Cardiganshire County, Wales the son of
David and Achsah (Davies) Thomas (listed as a welsh pioneer) he was baptised
5 July 1816 at the Trewen Independant Chapel in Brongwyn, Cardiganshire County,
Wales. He married Mary Jones in 1841. He died 11 March 1893at Dekalb, New York and
was buried 13 March 1893 at the Wayside Cemetery, Richville, New York.
Mary Jones was born 25 July 1822 at Penbryn, Cardiganshire County, Wales the
daughter of John and Mary (Davies) Jones she was baptised 18 August 1822 at the
Trewen Independant Chapel in Brongwyn, Cardiganshire County, Wales. She died 6
September 1890 at Dekalb, New York and was buried 8 September 1890 at the Wayside
Cemetery, Richville, New York.
They had a total of 11 children, 8 growing to adutlhood.
David was born 23 February 1842 at Troedyraur, Wales and was baptised 10 March
1842 at the Glynarthen Independant Chapel in Penbryn, Cardiganshire County, Wales.
Henry (listed as a welsh pioneer) was born 1844 at Troedyraur, Wales.
He married Hannah Davies (listed as a welsh pioneer) February 1870. He died 4
January 1918 at Dekalb, New York and was buried in the Wayside Cemetery, Richville,
New York.
Thomas was born 5 April 1847 at Troedyraur, Wales. He died before 1851 in
Troedyraur, Wales.
Benjamin was born 1849 at Troedyraur, Wales.
Erasmus (listed as a welsh pioneer) was born 3 May 1851 at Troedyraur, Wales and
was baptised 10 September 1851 at the Glynarthen Independant Chapel, Penbryn, Wales.
He married Anne Jane Griffis (listed as a welsh pioneer) in 1872.
He died 23 November 1901 at Dekalb, New York and was buried in the Wayside Cemetery.
Lewis was born 22 January 1854 at Troedyraur, Wales and was baptised 14 October 1854
at the Glynarthen Independant Chapel in Penbryn, Wales. He died 12 December 1876 at
Dekalb and was buried in the Wayside Cemetery.
John was born 5 June 1856 at Troedyraur, Wales and was baptised 14 July 1858 at the
Glynarthen Independant Chapel in Penbyn, Wales. He married Sylvia Fults in 1880.
He died 11 July 1938 at Theresa, New York and was buried in the Oakwood Cemetery,
Theresa, New York.
Samuel Thomas was born 22 December 1858 at Troedyraur, Wales and was baptised
3 October 1859 at the Glynarthen Independant Chapel in Penbryn, Wales. He first
married Ruby Parker 7 November 1883 at Macomb, New York. His second marriage
was to Barbara Mills 4 June 1930. He died 5 March 1935 at Gouverneur, New York.
Evan was born 1862 at Troedyraur, Wales and died between 1890 and 1893 in Wales.
Axa was born 1864 at Troedyraur, Wales. She died 25 September 1882 at Dekalb and
is buried in the Wayside Cemetery.
Elizabeth M. was born 30 May 1867 at Troedyraur, Wales. She married Evan Rees
19 January 1887 at Dekalb, New York. She died 28 February 1932 at Ogdensburg,
New York and was buried in the Wayside Cemetery.
