Sarah Evans was born 15 November 1844 in Brongwyn, Cardiganshire County, Wales the daughter of Owen and Rebecca Davies. Married Thomas Phillip Griffiths (listed as a welsh pioneer) about 1869 in New York State. She died 6 September 1871 at Gouverneur, New York.
