David E. & Sarah Davies
David E. Davies was born 9 December 1843 at Penbryn, Cardiganshire County, Wales
the son of Evan and Sarah Davies (listed as a welsh pioneer) he was baptised
January 1844 at the Glynarthen Independant Chapel, Penbryn, Cardiganshire County,
Wales. He married Sarah Jones in 1867. He died 3 June 1936 at Gouverneur, New York
and was buried 6 June 1936 at the Riverside Cemetery, Gouverneur, New York.
Sarah Jones was born 4 February 1833 at Troedyraur, Cardiganshire County, Wales the
daughter of David and Achsah Thomas (listed as a welsh pioneer) she was baptised
18 February 1833 at the Trewen Independant Chapel, Brongwyn, Cardiganshire County,
Wales. She died 30 May 1896 at Gouverneur, New York and is buried in the Riverside
Cemetery, Gouverneur, New York
They had one daughter.
Jennie Achsah was born 9 February 1869 at Gouverneur, New York. She married
Henry C. Thomas 5 August 1890. She died 18 January 1951 at Wingdale, New York and
was buried 20 January 1951 at the Riverside Cemetery, Gouverneur, New York.
