January 1 - Saturday - We worked over to Bert’s all day. Lottie and I went down after Emma and Harry.

January 2 - Sunday - Harry and Emma were here all day. I took them down town at night.

January 3 - Monday - Pa and I went to town.

January 4 - Tuesday - Pruned tops all day.

January 5 - Wednesday - Trimmed tops all day.

January 6 - Thursday - Trimmed tops all day.

January 7 - Friday - Trimmed tops all day.

January 8 - Saturday - Trimmed tops all day.

January 9 - Sunday - Bert, Jessie, Lottie and I went to Uncle Lewis’ with the car. It was a nice day but it was cold.

January 10 - Monday - Trimmed tops al day.

January 11 - Tuesday - Finished trimming tops.

January 12 - Wednesday - Made the slit saw frame. It stormed and rained all day.

January 13 - Thursday - Pa and I drew out wood in pm. It rained in am.

January 14 - Friday - Drew out wood all day. Bert helped us.

January 15 - Saturday - We drew out wood all day. I went down town at night. M.D.K. came and went to Bert’s.

January 16 - Sunday - Lottie was sick. We all staid home all day.

January 17 - Monday - It was 2 below zero and the wind blew awful. Maurice and May came over in am.

January 18 - Tuesday - It was 2 below zero. Pa went to town in pm.

January 19 - Wednesday - I was sick in bed all day.

January 20 - Thursday - I was sick with grippe. Maurice and his wife went home in am.

January 21 - Friday - I was sick with grippe.

January 22 - Saturday - Was a nice day. Pa, Cliff and Hazel went to town in pm. I tinkered around home.

January 23 - Sunday - I went to Mills in am and Lottie, Hazel, Cliff and I went to Bert’s. Then all went down to Emmett’s with the car. Was a nice day.

January 24 - Monday - Drew straw out in the field all day.

January 25 - Tuesday - Drew in straw all day.

January 26 - Wednesday - Finished drawing in straw and got Bennett’s engine in am. Pa went to town. Bert and I set up saw.

January 27 - Thursday - Sawed wood all day. Was a nice warm day.

January 28 - Friday - Sawed wood all day. Was a nice warm day.

January 29 - Saturday - Finished sawing wood in am and got the engine home and went down to Lottie’s folks in pm.

January 30 - Sunday - Lottie and I was down to her folks’. Got home 5:30 pm. The roads were muddy.

January 31 - Monday - Pa and I went over and helped Bennett saw wood all day. Rained.

February 1 - Tuesday - Pa and I went over to help Bennett saw wood. The roads were awful muddy.

February 2 - Wednesday - Pa and I went over and helped Bert saw wood. It was a little colder.

February 3 - Thursday - Pa and I went over and helped Bert saw wood. It was an awful stormy day.

February 4 - Friday - We didn’t do much of anything all day. It was cold.

February 5 - Saturday - We made a car for tract on the drag saw. Pa and I took Ma to train. She went up to Wayland.

February 6 - Sunday - Lottie and I went to church in am. Stormed in pm. Cliff and Hazel got home at 8:30 pm.

February 7 - Monday - Stormed like everything all day. I helped Lottie wash and fix my vest in pm.

February 8 - Tuesday - Took Murry Corbett down some oats.

February 9 - Wednesday - Skidded out some wood in am.

February 10 - Thursday - Pa went up to Wayland. I skidded out some logs in am but in pm it stormed.

February 11 - Friday - I made a jar stand in pm. It stormed awful. Cliff took Hazel to train.

February 12 - Saturday - Made a jar stand in pm. In pm I had the bellyache. Pa came home from Wayland.

February 13 - Sunday - Cliff went down after Hazel in am. We stayed home all day.

February 14 - Monday - Helped Lottie wash. Went over took the children’s pictures. Pa went up to Wayland.

February 15 - Tuesday - Bet, Jess, Lottie and I went up to Gert’s funeral. It was 18 below zero when we started.

February 16 - Wednesday - I drew over some wood and split it in am.

February 17 - Thursday - I worked on Mrs. Wells’ jardiniere stand. Pa and Ma came home at night.

February 18 - Friday - I worked on Bert’s sleigh and went down to get Art but he didn’t come so I went down at night.

February 19 - Saturday - Stormed awful. We didn’t do much of anything.

February 20 - Sunday - Art was home. Bert and Jessie came over and we had a chicken dinner. It was a nice day.

February 21 - Monday - We went down town in pm and Art went up to Wayland.

February 22-26 - Tuesday - Saturday - Note: These pages are missing.

February 27 - Sunday - Mr. and Mrs. Fisher and Anna Rauber were here and I took them to station and got Lottie and Hazel in pm. It stormed.

February 28 - Monday - Uncle L.’s folks were here. We broke out road. I went down town with Ray Ebersold and walked back.

February 29 - Tuesday - Pa and Ma went down town in pm. Art went to Wayland. Uncle Lewis went home.

March 1 - Wednesday - Pa and I went down town to lawsuit. Pa went up to Wayland in pm. Bert and Jess came over.

March 2 - Thursday - Clarence and Bert’s folks were here. Banks and Bennett’s folks were here in evening.

March 3 - Friday - Pa came home from Wayland in pm. I helped Bert cut some chunks and I went down after Art and Edith.

March 4 - Saturday - Didn’t do anything in am. Lottie, Emma, Harry and I went down to McKibbin’s in pm.

March 5 - Sunday - Harry, Emma, Lottie and I came home from McKibbin’s in pm. Was a bad stormy day.

March 6 - Monday - Stormed like the devil all day. Pa took Art and Edith down to train in am.

March 7 - Tuesday - Worked on hay rack in am and in pm, Pa, Ma and I went to Beal's auction. Got a load of wood in am.

March 8-10 - Wednesday-Friday - Note: These pages missing.

March 11 - Saturday - Went down town in pm. Got a load of wood in am.

March 12 - Sunday - Went to church twice and Pa and Ma and Art went over to Bert’s to dinner.

March 13 - Monday - I drew two loads of wood over to Shant’s district schoolhouse. Maurice came down.

March 14 - Tuesday - Pa took log to mill. I took the engine apart and took it to town in pm.

March 15 - Wednesday - Stormed all day. Pa, Art and I went down after engine. Maurice went home.

March 16 - Thursday - Fixed engine in am and setle up in pm. It stormed.

March 17 - Friday - Stormed like the duce in am. Didn’t do anything. Tried to saw some crate slats.

March 18 - Saturday - Was down town in am and down in pm.

March 19 - Sunday - Lottie and I went to church in am.

March 20 - Monday - Art and I took calves to Wallace. 3 came to $43.10.

March 21 - Tuesday - Drew a load of potatoes for Bert in pm.

March 22 - Wednesday - Art and I went to Elmira. Came home on the 11:20 pm.

March 23 - Thursday - Drew a load of potatoes for Bert in pm.

March 24 - Friday - Drew a load of potatoes for Bert in pm.

March 25 - Saturday - Drew two load of potatoes and Bert drew one load for us. Walter D. came down with Art.

March 26 - Sunday - Stayed at home all day. It was a bad day.

March 27 - Monday - Was a rainy day. Sawed crate slats and sorted potatoes in am.

March 28 - Tuesday - Shovelled out roads in pm. Went down town to see the high water in pm.

March 29 - Wednesday - Sawed some crate timber and made some crates. Art and I walked down town.

March 30 - Thursday - Took care of cutter. Made crates and fixed the car.

March 31 - Friday - Pa and Art went to mill. I worked on the car in the am. In pm we de-horned bull.

April 1 - Saturday - I filed a rip saw in am. In pm we took Art to train and went to Weirer’s sale.

April 2 - Sunday - Stayed at home all day. The roads were awful bad.

April 3 - Monday - Sawed wood for Bennett and Bert. It was a nice spring day.

April 4 - Tuesday - Sawed wood for Bert and sharpened posts.

April 5 - Wednesday - Finished sharpening posts and moved home in am. Helped clean house in pm.

April 6 - Thursday - I helped Philip Ebersold move. I got down to McKibbin’s at 8 pm. It rained and snowed in pm.

April 7 - Friday - I came home from Mt. Washington in am. Split wood in pm. It was a cold day.

April 8 - Saturday - Split wood in am. Took calf to town in pm. It snowed. Lottie and I went down to Wagner’s. Mrs. Miller was sick.

April 9 - Sunday - I went over to Miller’s engine in am. Lottie and I went down to Wagner’s in pm.

April 10 - Monday - Drew potatoes all day. Pa and I helped Ray Westbrook take up the pump in am.

April 11 - Tuesday - Drew potatoes all day. Bert and I sorted. Pa, Bert and I scraped snow out of the road.

April 12 - Wednesday - Pa went and got some pigs in am. Then he and I split wood the rest of the time.

April 13 - Thursday - Pa and I split wood all day. Ma and Art came home.

April 14 - Friday - Rained and I clipped Carl Fox’s mules.

April 15 - Saturday - Art and I took the hog down and the colts to shop. Lottie and I went up to Atlanta in pm.

April 16 - Sunday - Lottie and I was up to Emma’s and Harry’s. Got home at 8 pm. Drove Bert home.

April 17 - Monday - Finished splitting wood and razed? the road. It rained a little.

April 18 - Tuesday - Cleaned up around the wood pile and set up the engine to saw with drag saw. Sawed with the drag saw all day.

April 19 - Wednesday - Note: Page missing

April 20 - Thursday - Art went to Wayland. Pa and I sawed wood and sorted potatoes.

April 21 - Friday - Rained in pm. Finished sawing wood and took Bennett’s engine home. Pa and Ma went to home.

April 22 - Saturday - Rained all day. Put new cylinder on engine up oat and put shoes on drag.

April 23 - Sunday - Went to church with Bert and Jess. They were here to dinner. Art and Cliff went over to Mills’.

April 24 - Monday - Took out engine and sawed our wood and sharpened some fence posts.

April 25 - Tuesday - Art and I sawed wood for Ellis Mills. Cleaned hen house.

April 26 - Wednesday - Pa went to Wallace in am. I clipped Bert’s horses. Art and Cliff drew manure. Rained in pm.

April 27 - Thursday - Drew manure in am and started to plow in pm.

April 28 - Friday - Art and I plowed all day in 11-lot acres.

April 29 - Saturday - Art and I plowed. Pa plowed in my place. I and Lottie went down to McKibbin’s with car.

April 30 - Sunday - Lottie and I were down to her folks. Got home at 8 o’clock.

May 1 - Monday - Art and I plowed all day. We finished the 11 acres and started to plow for oats. Art and I went down town with the car.

May 2 - Tuesday - Plowed in am. I went to Bath with the car. Took Ma, Cliff and Lottie down. Pa plowed in pm.

May 3 - Wednesday - Art and I plowed in am. It rained in pm. I varnished jardiniere stand and split kindling wood.

May 4 - Thursday - Drew manure all day. I took Ma, Lottie and Cliff to Bath in pm.

May 5 - Friday - Drew manure all am. Finished plowing oat ground in pm.

May 6 - Saturday - Art and I drew manure. Finished. Art and I rode down town with Deyo. It rained. Map and Pa went down in pm.

May 7 - Sunday - Cliff, Hazel, Lottie and I went down to church in am. Ma and Pa went to Emery’s in pm.

May 8 - Monday - Pa went to town in am. Art and I started to drag it. Rained so we clipped the horses.

May 9 - Tuesday - Sowed oats all day. Art and I went down town at night. Took down some butter and eggs.

May 10 - Wednesday - Dragged and sowed oats all day. I took Hazel down in am and went down after her.

May 11 - Thursday - Dragged and sowed oats all day.

May 12 - Friday - Finished sowing oats and barley. Art, Ma, Lottie and I went down to Bro. Hood and got Oral.

May 13 - Saturday - Pa went over to help Bert drag. Art and I took two loads of potatoes down and drew out some manure. Harry and Emma came down.

May 14 - Sunday - Harry and Emma were here. It rained and they went home early. Ma was sick.

May 15 - Monday - Art and I dragged all day. Mrs. Willis died in pm. We had a terrible rain storm at night.

May 16 - Tuesday - I clipped Bennett’s horse. It rained some all day.

May 17 - Wednesday - Pa, Ma, Lottie and Cliff and I went to Bath. I plowed a little while in pm. Pa went after pigs.

May 18 - Thursday - Plowed in am. We went to Mrs. Willis’ funeral in pm. Pa plowed in pm.

May 19 - Friday - Plowed all day.

May 20 - Saturday - Plowed in am and dragged in pm. We went down town. I brought up 6 in the car.

May 21 - Sunday - Roy Strick was here. Ellis Mills and wife was here. Pa, Art, Lottie and I went to Hammondsport. Pa, Ma, Lottie and I went up to Uncle Lewis’s.

May 22 - Monday - Art and I dragged in am. It rained in pm so I worked on the car.

May 23 - Tuesday - Helped Bert sort seed in am. Pa went to town in pm. Art and I fixed fence and marked.

May 24 - Wednesday - Planted potatoes all day.

May 25 - Thursday - Plowed a little and dragged the rest of the day.

May 26 - Friday - Dragged in am. Marked in pm. Took Cliff and Hazel to the train for Elmira.

May 27 - Saturday - Planted potatoes until it rained. Then we worked in the cellar. All went down town.

May 28 - Sunday - Art, Lottie and I got Alice D. Then went up to decorate Gertie’s grave.

May 29 - Monday - Planted potatoes all day. Art, Ada, Lottie and I went down to McKibbin’s. Lottie stayed down there.

May 30 - Tuesday - Pa and I finished planting the lot back of the barn and plowed in pm. Art helped Mills. All went to town at night.

May 31 - Wednesday - Pa and I plowed for corn. Finished. Art dropped potatoes for Mills.

June 1 - Thursday - Dragged for corn all day. Pa sowed some in pm. Ma, Hazel, Art and I went to band concert.

June 2 - Friday - Art and I plowed for potatoes all day. Fixed phone line at night. Had a thundershower.

June 3 - Saturday - Plowed in am. Rained in pm. I made window screen and sprouted potatoes. Art, Hazel and I went to town.

June 4 - Sunday - Art, Hazel and I went down to McKibbin’s. Lottie washed the car at night.

June 5 - Monday - Rained nearly all day. Fixed fence and moved the rabbit house.

June 6 - Tuesday - Plowed in am and Art dragged. I took Lottie down to train at night.

June 7 - Wednesday - Draged in am and in pm it rained. We cut seed. I went down after Lottie at night.

June 8 - Thursday - Drove posts all day. Pa took a grist to the mill. Art went down with Bert in am.

June 9 - Friday - Built fence all day. I took Bert’s drill home and went down to see Billings. Art went to show.

June 10 - Saturday - Got some crows to put on corn. Mowed lawn and the road. Ma and Pa went to auction. Lottie, Art and I went to town. Floyd and Hannah came up.

June 11 - Sunday - Lottie, Hannah, Floyd, Art and I went down to children’s day. Ma and Pa went down too. Bert and Jess stayed to dinner.

June 12 - Monday - Worked on the road. I took Lottie down to the train. She went up to Atlanta.

June 13 - Tuesday - Worked on the road all day. All went down to hear the lecture at night.

June 14 - Wednesday - Helped Bert drag for potatoes. It was a nice day.

June 15 - Thursday - Helped Bert drag for potatoes in am. Rained in pm. I took Lottie and her chocolate cake to Wheeler.

June 16 - Friday - Rained all day. Had a hard rain all day. Art and I took Hazel to train.

June 17 - Saturday - Cleaned cellar and went to town to see high water. Worked on road in pm.

June 18 - Sunday - Pa, Ma and I went up to Uncle Lewis’s. then I went to Atlanta after Lottie. Harry, Emma, Lottie and I went to Naples.

June 19 - Monday - Worked on the road in the pm. It rained around the valves in the car at night.

June 20 - Tuesday - Worked on the road all day. Put the car together at night.

June 21 - Wednesday - Rained in pm. We worked on the road.

June 22 - Thursday - I went down to have the separator fixed. We went over to help Bert plant in the pm.

June 23 - Friday - Finished planting over to Bert’s. Ma, Lottie and I went down to school ex.

June 24 - Saturday - Planted potatoes in pm. Art went away. Took a bath and went to bed early.

June 25 - Sunday - Lottie and I went down to McKibbin’s. Came back early. Had to do chores. Went down to church.

June 26 - Monday - Finished planting potatoes in am. Art cultivated in pm. Pa drew hay. All went down to Com. Ex.

June 27 - Tuesday - Pa took a load of hay down town. Art and I cultivated potatoes all day.

June 28 - Wednesday - Cultivated all day.

June 29 - Thursday - Cultivated and plowed Bwheat ground. Went down to hear the band play.

June 30 - Friday - Cultivated all day.

July 1 - Saturday - Dragged all am and in pm Bert and Art, Pa and I went to Bath. Art, Lottie and I went to town.

July 2 - Sunday - Went to church in am. Cliff came home. Bert and Jessie were here. Went to bed early.

July 3 - Monday - Went to Wheeler after sluice and put it in pm. It rained in pm.

July 4 - Tuesday - Pa, Ma, Cliff, Lottie and I went up to Uncle Lewis’s. Lottie, Leroy, Cliff and I went to Dansville in pm.

July 5 - Wednesday - I dragged and sowed buckwheat. Art mowed. Pa, Lottie and I went up to Wallace.

July 6 - Thursday - Mowed in am. Rolled and put up hay in pm. Art, Lottie and I went down to band concert.

July 7 - Friday - Put up hay in am and drew in pm 4 loads.

July 8 - Saturday - Drew in hay in am. Rained in pm.

July 9 - Sunday - We all went to church in am. Art went to Mills and Ma and Pa went to Bert’s in pm.

July 10 - Monday - Cultivated all day. Went down after Uncle Chris’s folks at noon.

July 11 - Tuesday - Cultivated all day. Went down to Lottie’s folks at night. Took Uncle Chris too.

July 12 - Wednesday - Mowed in am. Fixed the Dug Way and went down after Lottie and over after the folks.

July 13 - Thursday - Put up hay in am. Rained in pm. Went to town in pm.

July 14 - Friday - Hilled potatoes in am and went to Mrs. Shults’ funeral in pm.

July 15 - Saturday - Drew in hay and hilled potatoes and took Uncle Chris and Aunt Clara to the train.

July 16 - Sunday - Lottie and I went down to her folks. Got home at 5 o’clock. Bert and Jess went down to Bath.

July 17 - Monday - Hilled potatoes all day.

July 18 - Tuesday - Got the sprayer ready. Took Ma to train and sprayed potatoes.

July 19 - Wednesday - Sprayed potatoes in am and went to Uncle Jake’s funeral in pm. Put up hay at night.

July 20 - Thursday - Drew in hay and mowed all day. Went down to band concert.

July 21 - Friday - Pa helped Bert. We put up hay. It rained in pm. We all went down to Chaut.

July 22 - Saturday - Cultivated and drew in hay in pm. Went down to Chaut in evening.

July 23 - Sunday - Went to church in am and to Chaut in pm and down in evening.

July 24 - Monday - Drew in 8 loads and Art mowed all day. We all went down to Chaut.

July 25 - Tuesday - Drew in hay all day. Went down to the last days Chaut.

July 26 - Wednesday - Drew in hay all day. I went over to Wesley’s after Lottie.

July 27 - Thursday - Drew hay and cultivated. Lottie, Art and I went down town.

July 28 - Friday - Sprayed potatoes all day. Pa went after black cherries and hilled potatoes.

July 29 - Saturday - Sprayed in am. Art and I hilled potatoes in pm. Went down town at night.

July 30 - Sunday - Pa, Ma, Lottie and I went to Elmira to see Cliff. Got home at 9:30. Was awful hot.

July 31 - Monday - Hilled potatoes at night. Lottie and I went down town after Anna?

August 1 - Tuesday - Finished hilling potatoes. Went over to Mills at night.

August 2 - Wednesday - Cut hay and put it up in pm. Went down to Bath at night to get Corbett’s car.

August 3 - Thursday - Drew in hay all day and went down to band concert.

August 4 - Friday - Cut hay, put it up and drew in 3 loads. Went down town with some eggs.

August 5 - Saturday - Finished haying in am. cleaned hen house in pm and took a bath.

August 6 - Sunday - Lottie, Mrs. Boyd and I were down to McKibbin’s. Came home. Went up to Wesley’s after Grandma.

August 7 - Monday - Cut some sticks for Bert. Stacked in am. Put up the stacks and put up some hay in pm.

August 8 - Tuesday - Started to stack Bert’s hay.

August 9 - Wednesday - Helped Bert cut and stack his hay.

August 10 - Thursday - Went down to band concert.

August 11 - Friday - Note: Page missing.

August 12 - Saturday - Started to cut oats. Went down town at night. Went up to Wallace after twine.

August 13 - Sunday - Stayed at home in am and Luella and I took all the folks for a ride in pm.

August 14 - Monday - Bound oats all day. Lottie and I took her grandmother to bath at night..

August 15 - Tuesday - Bound oats all day. Julia Hinkel came. Luella, Lottie, Art and I went down to get her.

August 16 - Wednesday - Finished cutting oats in am and drew in barley in pm. Lottie and I went up to Atlanta.

August 17 - Thursday - Helped Wagner thrash in am and drew in barley in pm. Went down to band concert.

August 18 - Friday - Drew in oats all day. Bert helped us. Took a bath and went to bed.

August 19 - Saturday - Bound oats all day for Bert. We went down town at night..

August 20 - Sunday - Went to church in am. I took Ma and Pa up to Shiloh’s and Lottie and I went up to Aunt Emma and Uncle John Gary.

August 21 - Monday - Finished binding Bert’s oats and started to sack them. I took Lottie down to her folks at night.

August 22 - Tuesday - Finished stacking oats for Bert. Art and I went down to Bath at night after a key for the car.

August 23 - Wednesday - Sawed wood all the am for Wagner. Sawed out some sticks for the hay rack in pm.

August 24 - Thursday - I helped Bert all day draw sand and put in concrete.

August 25 - Friday - I helped Bert put a cement bottom in his garage. Went down after Lottie and Cliff to Bath.

August 26 - Saturday - I took Deyo Merton with Willie Fox to Penn Yan, to Branchport, to ball game.

August 27 - Sunday - Cliff was home. We stayed at home in the day. Lottie, Art and I took Cliff down to Bath.

August 28 - Monday - Art and I went up to Wayland to settle with Maurice.

August 29 - Tuesday - Built form for the trough. Art and I went up to Wallace after gas at night.

August 30 - Wednesday - Built a cement watering trough. I took Lottie down to McKibbin’s.

August 31 - Thursday - Went to Hornell Fair. Lottie was down to her folks.

September 1 - Friday - Put a cement top on the porch. Art drew wood all day.

September 2 - Saturday - Finished the cement top on porch in am. Art helped Bert thrash in pm. All went down town.

September 3 - Sunday - I went down to McKibbin’s after Lottie. Got home and went over to Bennett’s a while in evening.

September 4 - Monday - Lottie and I went up to Cohocton to ball game in am and pm and to Wayland at night. Got home 11:30.

September 5 - Tuesday - Mowed brush in am. Ma, Bert, Art and I went up to Wayland in pm. Edith Drain and James came up.

September 6 - Wednesday - Mowed brush in am. Went over to Bert’s after a load of straw in pm and drew a load of wood.

September 7 - Thursday - Mowed brush all day ‘til it rained. Lottie, Art and I went down to the band concert. It rained all night.

September 8 - Friday - Helped Bert put cement floor in hen house. I taped Lottie’s shoes at night.

September 9 - Saturday - Finished Bert’s hen house in am. Art, Lottie and I went down town at night.

September 10 - Sunday - Uncle Fred Miller’s folks were here. We went down to church at night.

September 11 - Monday - Built fence.

September 16 - Saturday - Art and I made end board in am and fixed wagon box cradle around buckwheat. Went down town.

September 17 - Sunday - Went down to church in am. We all went down to Fred Hoke’s funeral in pm.

September 18 - Monday - Art and I drew wood to school house in am. Cut Bwheat in pm. Lottie and I went up to Uncle Lewis’s.

September 19 - Tuesday - Uncle Lewis, Aunt Julia, Lottie and I went to Willard Asylum Canadaigua. Got home at 11:30.

September 20 - Wednesday - Cut corn all day. I told Lottie down to train. She went to Elmira.

September 21 - Thursday - Cut corn in am. Finished in pm. We finished the wood to the school house. Pulled the beans.

September 22- Friday - Pa and I went down in am. I helped Bert draw hay in pm. Pa helped him pitch.

September 23 - Saturday - Drew hay for Bert.

September 24 - Sunday - Will Schwingel’s folks were here. Cliff came home. Bert and Jessie were here.

September 25 - Monday - Dug one load of potatoes and took them down town.

September 26 - Tuesday - Dug one load of potatoes and drew them.

September 27 - Wednesday - Dug 2 loads of potatoes and drew them.

September 28 - Thursday - All went to fair. Pa and I went to board meeting at night.

September 29 - Friday - Leroy, Art, Lottie and I took Cliff down to Elmira. It rained all day. We went to McKibbin’s.

September 30 - Saturday - Dug potatoes all day. Lottie washed the car in pm. I worked on car at night.

October 1 - Sunday - Lottie and I went down to McKibbin’s. Her folks, Lottie and I went down to Gilson. Got back home at 9:30.

October 2 - Monday - Dug potatoes all day. Got out 2 loads.

October 3 - Tuesday - Dug potatoes all day. Got out two loads.

October 4 - Wednesday - Dug potatoes all day.

October 5 - Thursday - Finished Art’s field. Lottie and I went down to the last band concert.

October 6 - Friday - Dug potatoes all day. Put them in cellar. All went down to church supper.

October 7 - Saturday - Dug potatoes all day. Went down town at night.

October 8 - Sunday - Went up to Harry S.’s to dinner and came home. Did the chores and went down to church.

October 9 - Monday - Helped Emery take up his pump and went to Bath after some extras.

October 10 - Tuesday - Helped Emery put down his pump and dug potatoes all day.

October 11 - Wednesday - We thrashed in am. We dug potatoes in pm.

October 12 - Thursday - Dug all day. Lottie, Art and I went down to the reception.

October 13 - Friday - Dug all day. I worked on the car at night.

October 14 - Saturday - Dug all day. Lottie and I went down town in the evening.

October 15 - Sunday - Floyd, Lottie, Hannah and I went to church in am. I went down to hear the band play in pm.

October 16 - Monday - Finished the field back of the barn and picked apples in am. Dug for Bert in pm.

October 17 - Tuesday - Dug over to Bert’s in am but the wind blew so we didn’t dig in pm.

October 18 - Wednesday - We dug potatoes over to Bert’s all day. I worked on car at night.

October 19 - Thursday - It rained in am. Pa and I took a load of potatoes down town. Art and I drew some wood home in pm.

October 20 - Friday - Dug potatoes all day over to Bert’s.

October 21 - Saturday - Dug all day over to Bert’s. Went down town at night.

October 22 - Sunday - Art, Ada Wesley, Lottie and I went to Hornell. Stopped off to church at night.

October 23 - Monday - Finished digging over to Bert’s and all went down to the recital at the M. E. Church.

October 24 - Tuesday - Dug potatoes all day. Lottie and I went down town at night.

October 25 - Wednesday - Finished digging potatoes.

October 26 - Thursday - Art and I took two loads of wood to Butcher. Went over to Bennett at night.

October 27 - Friday - Picked up cider apples. Pa took them down and Art took a load of potatoes in pm. Went down to supper.

October 28 - Saturday - We all went to Elmira. Got home at 6 pm. Uncle Lewis’s folks came down.

October 29 - Sunday - Uncle folks were here. We all went over to Bert’s to dinner. Lottie and I went down to her folks in pm.

October 30 - Monday - Pa went over to Miller’s auction. Art and I went to town.

October 31 - Tuesday - Note: Page Missing

November 1 - Wednesday - Went down after Mrs. Whitman. Then over to Bennett’s auction.

November 2 - Thursday - Washed the car in pm.

November 3 - Friday - Took Bennett’s folks to Bath. Came home and went to the reception.

November 4 - Saturday - Went up to Uncle Lewis’s silver wedding. Got back at 8:30.

November 5 - Sunday - Lottie, her folks and I went up to Harry’s to dinner and to Honey Falls in pm. Got home at 7:45 pm.

November 6 - Monday - Drew manure. Pa went to town.

November 7 - Tuesday - Went over to vote. Then went up to Dansville with Wagner’s. Took Deyo and Clark up to Putman’s.

November 8 - Wednesday - Finished drawing out logs.

November 9 - Thursday - Plowed all day. Rained all night.

November 10 - Friday - Plowed all day. Art and I went down town in evening.

November 11 - Saturday - Plowed all day. Pa, Ma and Art went to town in pm.

November 12 - Sunday - Went to church in am. Went over to Carl Fox’s in pm. It was a nice day.

November 13 - Monday - I went down to have my teeth fixed. Put some new wires on the car. Art and I went over to set up well.

November 14 - Tuesday - I took a load of wood to Mose Clogar in am and set up the little engine in pm.

November 15 - Wednesday - Cleaned the engine and ground the valves. Lottie and I went over to Carl Fox’s.

November 16 - Thursday - Went to Uncle George’s funeral and came back. Carl fox’s funeral in pm.

November 17 - Friday - Put paper on the garage in am. In pm put covering on watering trough and fixed the place for the engine.

November 18 - Saturday - Note: Page Missing

November 19 - Sunday - Lottie, Art and I went up to Maurice’s.

December 1 - Friday - Cut wood all day. Went down to church social at night.

December 2 - Saturday - Went down to Haskin’s auction but they didn’t sell so I helped Ray Westbrook.

December 3 - Sunday - Lottie, Cliff and I went down to church in am. Stayed at home the rest of the day.

December 4 - Monday - Lottie, Will and Belle and I went down to McKibbin’s hunting, but didn’t get anything.

December 10 - Sunday - Lottie and I went to church in am. Bert and Jessie went with us. Pa and Ma went at Kate G.’s.

December 11 - Monday - Bert and I went to Bath with buckwheat.
