January 1 - Thursday - We were down to Mt. Washington. Were to Bert’s for supper and went to class social in evening.
January 2 - Friday - Note: This diary entry is missing.
January 3 - Saturday - Art and I were down town in evening. Lottie came home from Clark’s.
January 4 - Sunday - Art was here. We were home until pm. We took Art down town. Went down to Bert’s and over to Robinson’s.
January 5 - Monday - Father and I went to mill in am and down to Robinson’s. Worked on truck in pm.
January 6 - Tuesday - Worked on engine truck all day. We all went down to Wagner’s at night
January 7 - Wednesday - Worked on the truck all day. Cliff and I went down town at night.
January 8 - Thursday - Worked on the engine truck. Lottie and I went down town at night.
January 9 - Friday - We worked on the engine trucks. Cliff went up to Eckler’s to the tin shower.
January 10 - Saturday - We went to Grange dinner. It was awful cold.
January 11 - Sunday - Pa and Ma and Cliff went to church and Lottie and I were here alone in pm. We went to W. Fox’s.
January 12 - Monday - Snowed and blowed all day something fierce. I took Lottie down to the train and worked in shop. It was 12 degrees below zero.
January 13 - Tuesday - It was 20 below zero. Snowed and blowed in am. We put engine on truck and I went down after Lottie. The roads drifted.
January 14 - Wednesday - Opened the road in am. Helped Carl load of hay in pm and worked in shop.
January 15 - Thursday - Went down to Bert’s and helped him butcher and cut wood. Got home at 6 pm.
January 16 - Friday - I took Lottie and Ma down in am. Fixed the engine room and went down to the men’s supper.
January 17 - Saturday - Cut stalk in am. Stormed like the old Harry, but Lottie and I went up to Uncle Lewis’s.
January 18 - Sunday - Was up to Uncle Lewis’s and down to Schwingel’s. Had a dandy time. Got home at 10:45 pm. It was a nice day.
January 19 - Monday - Cut some logs in am. Pa, Ma and Cliff went to town in pm. I filed the saw and sharpened the axes.
January 20 - Tuesday - Cut some logs in am and skidded them out in pm. Took the school to Bath for a sleigh ride.
January 21 - Wednesday - Drew logs to mill all day and went up to Carl’s to the dance and got home at 5 am. Had a good time.
January 22 - Thursday - Drew logs to mill all day and Lottie and I went over to Dillenbeck’s to class social.
January 23 - Friday - Cut some logs and drew them to the mill. Was awful sleepy and went to bed early.
January 24 - Saturday - Went over to the sawmill. Got a load of sawdust and Lottie and I went to Bath and had some teeth filled and went up to her folks.
January 25 - Sunday - Lottie and I was down to her folks. Had a dandy time. Came home and stopped at Bert’s a few min. and Julia came up.
January 26 - Monday - Drew lumber home from the mill. Lottie and I went up to Carl’s to make a farewell visit.
January 27 - Tuesday - Drew lumber home from the mill in am. I took Lottie down to the train. I drove in 15 min. Was nice sleighing.
January 28 - Wednesday - Went down and got a load of ice. I took Pa down to Lodge at night.
January 29 - Thursday - Went down to get a load of ice but it was thawing so the water was so light we didn’t get any.
January 30 - Friday - Broke out road for buggy and pitched over some corn stalks. I went over to H. Shant’s to a party.
January 31 - Saturday - We were going to cut stalks, but it rained so we fixed our skid bob instead. I went down after Art.
February 1 - Sunday - Art was home. We staid home all day. I took him down at night and I met Lottie at the train.
February 2- Monday - Helped Bert press hay all day. Lottie and I went to the recital at the Presbyterian Church. Got home at 11:30.
February 3 - Tuesday - I went down and helped Bert press hay all day. Finished about 3 pm and got home about 6 pm.
February 4 - Wednesday - Cut corn stalks in am. Drew chunks home from the woods in pm. Was a nice day.
February 5 - Thursday - John Fox came in am. We got the drag saw ready in pm and moved the engine to the woods.
February 6 - Friday - Pa and I sawed wood all day with drag saw. Lottie and I took Julia down.
February 7 - Saturday - Sawed wood all day. Pa and Ma went to town in pm. Cliff and I finished sawing and move home.
February 8 - Sunday - Lottie, Cliff and I went to church in am and staid at home in pm and evening. The wind blew and it was awful cold.
February 9 - Monday - Worked in shop in am and in pm we drew wood out of the woods.
February 10 - Tuesday - I worked down town on the tabernacle and Pa went down to the shop. Uncle Jake came up with us.
February 11 - Wednesday - I drew wood all day down to the tabernacle. Pa went up to the mill after flour.
February 12 - Thursday - It was 16 below zero. Uncle Jake was here. We played dominoes all day and at night.
February 13 - Friday - Played dominoes all day. Lottie and I went to a dance and got home at 5:30 am.
February 14 - Saturday - Put bottom in wagon box. I went to town in pm. Snowed like the duce all day.
February 15 - Sunday - Stayed at home all day but all went to church in evening.
February 16 - Monday - I took a load of chunks down and Pa took a load down in pm. Lottie and I went to a meeting at night.
February 17 - Tuesday - Lottie and I went to Frank Corbett’s funeral. Went to bed early.
February 18 - Wednesday - Drew in straw all day. Lottie, Cliff and I went to church at night.
February 19 - Thursday - Cut corn stalks in am. Uncle Jake helped us.
February 20 - Friday - Lottie and I went to Uncle George W. in am. Got there at noon. It was cold. Pa went to the mill and drew a load of potatoes.
February 21 - Saturday - Lottie and I went to Hornell in the am. Called on our friend in pm. Had a nice time. Went to the show.
February 22 - Sunday - Lottie and I went to Canesteo to V.H.Z. to dinner and came home in pm. It stormed and was cold.
February 23 - Monday - Pa and I took a load of chunks down town to the church and got a load of ice.
February 24 - Tuesday - Took a load of chunks and got a load of ice.
February 25 - Wednesday - Drew some sawdust and some chunks and went to the auction and all went to church at night.
February 26 - Thursday - Drew a load of potatoes and Cliff and I went to church at night.
February 27 - Friday - I drew three loads of potatoes. I went down to church at night.
February 28 - Saturday - Pa helped Bert move and I and V. and K. took some calves up to Wallace in pm. Cliff went to church and Art came home with buggy.
March 1 - Sunday - Snowed all day. I took Lottie and Ma down to the woman’s meeting. Stormed so we came near not getting home. Got fast in snow.
March 2 - Monday - Stormed all day and blew like the duce all day so we did chores and played dominoes and slept.
March 3 - Tuesday - Broke the road and went after the mail and played dominoes in pm and evening.
March 4 - Wednesday - Drew potatoes all day. Lottie, Cliff and I went to church at night. Art went back to work.
March 5 - Thursday - I drew two loads of potatoes down and all went to church at night.
March 6 - Friday - Took a load of potatoes in am. In pm it stormed so we played dominoes. Lottie, Cliff and I went to church.
March 7 - Saturday - Drew a load of potatoes and went down to church at night.. Uncle Jake went home and Hannah came up.
March 8 - Sunday - Lottie and I went to church in am and to Van Patton’s to dine, to men’s meeting, to home. Did the chores and to church at night.
March 9 - Monday - I drew 2 loads of potatoes and went to bed early.
March 10 - Tuesday - Drew one load of potatoes in pm. The roads were drifted so we couldn’t draw in am. We all went down to the meeting at night.
March 11 - Wednesday - Took 2 loads of potatoes down town and went to church at night.
March 12 - Thursday - Took2 loads of potatoes down town and went to church at night. Pa and Cliff sorted potatoes in pm.
March 13 - Friday - Sorted potatoes all day and I took a cow down to John Ebersold’s. All went to church in evening.
March 14 - Saturday - I took down a load of wood to the Tabernacle. Pa and I went to the mill and to the church at night.
March 15 - Sunday - I took the load down to church in am. I had dinner down there. Pa came down. Went to the men’s meeting. Spaulding and Van Ness came up to do the chores with me.
March 16 - Monday - Pa took Aunt Julia and Lydia to the train. I put a shoe on Prince and sorted potatoes in pm. We cleaned out the road. Pa drove the sleigh for the last time.
March 17 - Tuesday - Fixed the barn roof in am and in pm we sorted potatoes and all went down to church at night with buggy.
March 18 - Wednesday - Sorted potatoes in am. Pitched corn stalks over and made a hen feed box in pm. It stormed so we did not go to church.
March 19 - Thursday - Went to church at night.
March 20 - Friday - We dug out the road and went to meeting at night.
March 21 - Saturday - Cut wood in am and Pa and Ma went to town and I took a bath and went to meeting.
March 22 - Sunday - Lottie, Ma, Cliff and I went down to the meeting and stayed all day. Had a great meeting. Got home at 12 o’clock.
March 23 - Monday - Filed the saw. Went down to practice and to meeting at night. Pink Rose service.
March 24 - Tuesday - Cut corn stalks nearly all day. Ground feed in pm. A little went over and I loaned Elmer Hyna some.
March 25 - Wednesday - Ground feed nearly all day. Pa, Cliff, Lottie and I went down to the Baptist to prayer meeting.
March 26 - Thursday - Pa and I went up to Leo Partridge’s in am. Shovelled out the road in pm. I went to the Leo’s and helped operate on a hog for pigs.
March 27 - Friday - Pa and I shovelled out the road. Sawed wood in am. Pa and Ma went to Geo. Stryker’s funeral in pm. It rained nearly all the pm.
March 28 - Saturday - Fixed engine. Clipped horses’ legs. Took a cow down to John Ebersold’s. Went down town and got Art at night.
March 29 - Sunday - We all went to church. Several joined the church. Lottie, Cliff and I took Art down and went to young people’s meeting and church.
March 30 - Monday - It rained nearly all day. We chored around. Put the separator in the woodshed.
March 31 - Tuesday - Fixed the hog pen and made a trough and dug up the knife that was in the drain and fixed the fence by the house.
April 1 - Wednesday - Went down to Bert’s after dog and took Lottie down. It rained at night.
April 2 - Thursday - Clipped the colt’s legs. I went down and helped doctor operate on the dog.
April 3 - Friday - Made a hen feeder in am. Pa and Ma went to funeral and I went to phone meeting. Cliff and I went to town at night to a reception.
April 4 - Saturday - Drew a load of wood to woodshed and cleaned hen house. I went to blacksmith shop and down to Lottie’s folks.
April 5 - Sunday - Lottie and I was down to her folks. Had a good time. Came home at night.
April 6 - Monday - Worked in wood in am and went to Mr. A. Fox’s wood bee. It snowed all pm.
April 7 - Tuesday - Fixed the engine cylinder and painted it. It rained all day.
April 8 - Wednesday - Rained all day so Pa and I fixed the drill.
April 9 - Thursday - Worked in woods all day. Ada was over and I took her home at night and went to agriculture meeting in M.E. Church.
April 10 - Friday - Worked in woods all day. Cliff took butter down at night.
April 11 - Saturday - Worked in wood in am. Went to Zulley’s sale in pm. It rained nearly all day.
April 12 - Sunday - Lottie, Cliff and I went to church in am. Cliff stayed to Sunday School. We went down to church in evening. The wind blew terrible.
April 13 - Monday - Took the pump up and put it down.
April 14 - Tuesday - Skidded wood in am and went to Wessels’ auction and I took Lottie down to the train at night.
April 15 - Wednesday - Finished skidding wood in am and moved the engine in pm and built a shanty over the drag saw.
April 16 - Thursday - Sawed wood all day with drag saw and went down after the gas engine and Lottie at night.
April 17 - Friday - We sawed wood all day with the drag saw. Ellis helped us and Pa went to phone meeting in pm. L. and I went to class social.
April 18 - Saturday - I went down to James L. to help him take down his barn. He had a bee. Pa, Ma and Lottie went to town in pm.
April 19 - Sunday - We all went to church in am, but Ma, Art and Bert and Jessie was here to dinner. We had an awful wind and rain storm in pm.
April 20 - Monday - Rained all day. Fixed the wagon and started to paint it and went over in the woods to finish sawing wood.
April 21 - Tuesday - Skidded out wood in am. Sawed wood in pm. We all went down town. Lottie went down to Bath at night.
April 22 - Wednesday - Finished sawing wood with the drag saw.
April 23 - Thursday - Drew out buz wood in am and sawed in pm. I and Ma went down to Prohibition Meeting.
April 24 - Friday - Sawed wood for John Ebersold. Moved home and Lottie and I went to the lecture on Brazil at night.
April 25 - Saturday - It rained nearly all day. Pa took calves down town. Cliff and I fixed drag engine and painted wagon and Pa took a load of wood down in pm.
April 26 - Sunday - Rained in am, but all went to church. Pa and Ma went to Mills in pm. Cliff went to church at night.
April 27 - Monday - Drew manure all day. Pa and I went down to church board meeting at night.
April 28 - Tuesday - Dragged for oats with the colts and Prince. Cleaned up oats at night.
April 29 - Wednesday - Dragged in am all day and in pm. Sowed our first oats in pm.
April 30 - Thursday - I sowed oats all day. It snowed in am. Pa took a load of wood down town in am.
May 1 - Friday - Blew out stumps and pulled them. Drew them up on a pile. Lottie and I went over to Ed Stanton’s with the blacks.
May 2 - Saturday - Pa went to Bath and I dragged all day and went down town after Emma at night.
May 3 - Sunday - Emma and Lottie went over to Ada’s in am. Lottie and I took Emma down to train and went to church.
May 4 - Monday - Dragged all day. I took Lottie down town at night. She went home. It rained. Had a thundershower.
May 5 - Tuesday - Rained all day. I clipped 5 horses for Pa and 3 for Carl Fox. Went to school meeting.
May 6 - Wednesday - Took a load of wood down town in am and plowed in pm.
May 7 - Thursday - Drew manure in am and plowed in pm. I went down town after Lottie at night.
May 8 - Friday - Plowed all day. Pa drew manure all day.
May 9 - Saturday - Rained all day. We worked in engine room all day. Pa and Ma went to town in pm. Cliff and I drew manure in pm. Lottie and I went to town at night.
May 10 - Sunday - Our folks went over to Bert’s from church. Lottie, Cliff and I went down to church. It rained so we did not stay to Sunday school.
May 11 - Monday - Plowed in am. Rained in pm so we worked in shop.
May 12 - Tuesday - Rained all day. Carl Fox and I went fishing. Got wetter than soak.
May 13 - Wednesday - Rained all day. We built fence and in evening we went to Frank Partridge’s to a social. Had a dandy time.
May 14 - Thursday - Built fence all day. Was sleepy and went to bed early.
May 15 - Friday - Plowed all day. Pa drew manure. Art called up and Pa and Ma went down after him.
May 16 - Saturday - I plowed all day. Pa drew manure all day. Art was home. Art and Cliff walked down town at night.
May 17 - Sunday - Lottie and I went to church in am. Pa, Ma, Lottie and I went to church at night. Art was home but went back in pm.
May 18 - Monday - I dragged all day and Pa plowed in am. I sowed oats in pm. Went to bed early.
May 19 - Tuesday - Sowed oats and I dragged all day. It was awful hot and was tired as the duce.
May 20 - Wednesday - I dragged all day. I went up to Fay Wessels’ after barley. Pa and Cliff went down town with me.
May 21 - Thursday - Finished sowing oats and started to plow barley ground. Lottie and I went down town at night
May 22 - Friday - Finished plowing barley ground and started to drag it but it rained us off. Lottie and I went over to Roger Fox’s at night.
May 23 - Saturday - Finished sowing barley and dragged the corn ground over. Pa, Cliff and I went down town. Ernest Polmateer’s house burned.
May 24 - Sunday - Bert and Jess and May and Deyo came up and Daniel’s folks came up at night. Lottie and I went down to church at night.
May 25 - Monday - Dragged corn ground and Pa sowed it. I took the hog up to Conner’s in pm. Pa and I went around with a paper for Ernest Polmateer.
May 26 - Tuesday - Dragged potato ground all day and I took our sow down to John at night.
May 27 - Wednesday - Finished drawing manure. Pa and I went down town at night to see Chas. Cotton. Pa went to Lodge. We had an awful wind and thunderstorm.
May 28 - Thursday - Pa and I plowed all day and Lottie and I went down to Ernest Polmateer‘s shower at night.
May 29 - Friday - Dragged and marked all day. Stayed at home at night and took a bath and went to bed early.
May 30 - Saturday - Planted potatoes all day and I went down to McKibbin’s at night. Got down there at 10 pm.
May 31 - Sunday - Lottie and I was down at her folks. Had a good time. Came home at night.
June 1 - Monday - Planted potatoes all day. Deyo Earley helped us. Fixed fence at night and went to bed early.
June 2 - Tuesday - Finished planting potatoes in 15 acre lot. Pa dragged and I plowed and he and I went to town at night.
June 3 - Wednesday - Plowed all day. Rode Cliff’s wheel down town at night to see Chas. Cotton.
June 4 - Thursday - Rained all day. I took Julia to school in am and sorted potatoes. Ma and I went down town in pm. I had Prince shod.
June 5 - Friday - Plowed all day. Lottie and I went over to Dillenbeck’s to a social with Roger and Margie.
June 6 - Saturday - Finished plowing for potatoes and started to drag. Pa and I went down town at night.
June 7 - Sunday - Went to church and Sunday School and Lottie and I went down to church at night.
June 8 - Monday - Dragged all day. Pa and I went down town at night to see Cotton.
June 9 - Tuesday - Marked in am and planted in pm. Set out tomatoes at night.
June 10 - Wednesday - Finished planting this side of hill. Went to class social at Wagner’s.
June 11 - Thursday - Finished the other side of the hill in am and planted in pm.
June 12 - Friday - Finished planting in am. Rolled and sowed the corn in pm.
June 13 - Saturday - Rolled potatoes and dug ditch. Went to town at night.
June 14 - Sunday - Went to church and Sunday School and church at night. Cliff was down to Bert’s.
June 15-19 - Monday-Friday - Was down helping Bert.
June 20 - Saturday - Cliff plowed and I helped Pa set out cabbage and cut each other’s hair and went down town at night.
June 21 - Sunday - Drove up to Carl Griesa’s and came home at night.
June 22 - Monday - Worked on the line all day. Went down town at night.
June 23 - Tuesday - Fixed the phone line and rolled B.wheat ground. Town at night.
June 24 - Wednesday - Dragged all day. Cliff and I went to town at night.
June 25 - Thursday - Dragged B.wheat ground. Cliff and I went down town to hear the band play.
June 26 - Friday - Rolled B.wheat and cultivated corn. Took a bath and went to bed
June 27 - Saturday - Cleaned basement and cultivated corn. Went down town and drove to Lottie’s folks after 9 o’clock.
June 28 - Sunday - Was down to Lottie’s folks and Father and I went down to Hammondsport in pm.
June 29 - Monday - Helped press hay to Hynas and dragged potatoes.
June 30 - Tuesday - Helped M. M. Corbett press hay to Hyna’s, Sprague’s and Glover’s.
July 1 - Wednesday - Pressed hay to Glover’s and Billings’ . Finished and went down town at night. Came home on Cliff’s wheel.
July 2 - Thursday - Cultivated all day. We all went down to band concert at night. Lottie went over to see Aunt Hattie.
July 3 Friday - Cultivated in pm. Drew wood to the house in the pm. Art and Gertie Drum and Uncle Jake came down at night.
July 4 - Saturday - Drew wood in am. In the pm Art and Gertie and Lottie and I went to Hornell. Emma and Willis were here while we were away.
July 5 - Sunday - Were home all day. Took Art and Gertie to the evening train and went to church.
July 6 - Monday - Sawed wood. Ground feed. Covered up the well and went down town at night. Lottie and I.
July 7 - Tuesday - Cultivated all day. Went to bed early.
July 8 - Wednesday - They all went to Sunday School picnic but Lottie and I cultivated corn.
July 9 - Thursday - Started to cut hay. Pa and Cliff cultivated corn. Ada came over. Went down town at night.
July 10 - Friday - Cultivated potatoes. It rained in pm.
July 11 - Saturday - Cut weeds in am and strewn hay in pm. Lottie, Cliff and I went down town. Took M. Corbett’s oats down.
July 12 - Sunday - Went down to church. Took Mrs. Rose down home. Pa and Ma were up to Carl’s after cherry. Lottie and I staid long at night.
July 13 - Monday - Note: Missing
July 14 - Tuesday - Took local up to Hopkins and to shop.

July 16 - Thursday - Went down to band concert. It rained.

July 18 - Saturday - Pa and I worked in potatoes and Lottie and Ma went to Mabel Eckler’s funeral and I went down town at night.
July 19 - Sunday - Bert and Chanay Louck’s folks were here all day. Lottie and Oral and I went to church at night.
July 20 - Monday - Mowed the 2 orchards and I worked in the potatoes. and put up hay.
July 21 - Tuesday - Cut hay in am. I worked in potatoes in pm. We drew in and put up hay.
July 22 - Wednesday - Drew in hay all day. Lottie, Oral and I went down town at night.
July 23 - Thursday - Pa and I drew in hay and Cliff mowed in am and it rained in pm. Lottie and I took Oral down at night.
July 24 - Friday - Cliff and I drew wood out of the woods and Pa went down town. Put up hay in pm and drew in 2 loads.
July 25 - Saturday - Hilled potatoes in am. Drew in hay in pm. Lottie and I went down to her folks.
July 26 - Sunday - Was down to McKibbin’s all day. Dandy time. Father and I went nearly over to Mitchellville after a binder. Got home at 9:30.
July 27 - Monday - I hilled potatoes. Pa and I mowed in pm. We worked in shop. Jenkins came and killed the cows.
July 28 - Tuesday - Cliff and I went over to get some cherries in am. Drew in hay in pm. Cliff and I went to town in evening.
July 29 - Wednesday - We all went to the Fireman’s convention at Bath.
July 30 - Thursday - Hilled potatoes in am. Finished mowing hay. Took heifer to bull at night.
July 31 - Friday - Worked in potatoes in am and finished drawing in hay in pm. Lottie and I went down town at night.
August 1 - Saturday - finished working in potatoes at noon. Our folks went to Wayland. Cliff and I fixed furnace, unloaded hay and went to town at night.
August 2 - Sunday - Our folks were away. We made ice cream and went to church. It rained at night so we staid home.
August 3 - Monday - Cliff and I drew wood out of the woods and went down to Pro hi meeting in the evening.
August 4 - Tuesday - Cliff and I drew wood out of the woods. All finished. Went down after our folks in the evening. Ada, Florence and Annabel were here.
August 5 - Wednesday - Pa, Cliff and I built fence all day. Lottie and I took Florence down at night.
August 6 - Thursday - We all went over to Razey’s to a reunion and down town in evening to see the doctor.
August 7 - Friday - Commenced to cut oats. Staid at home and went to bed early.
August 8 - Saturday - Cradled around 14 acres and bound in pm. Went down town at night.
August 9 - Sunday - Went to church in am. Bert and Jessie were up. It rained in pm. Lottie and I went up to Leon’s at night.
August 10 - Monday - Cut oats all day. Finished 14 acres at 7 pm. It rained some at night.
August 11 - Tuesday - Bound barley in am and it rained in pm. Harry and Claud were here. Lottie and I took butter down town.
August 12 - Wednesday - Went to Edgett reunion at Cohocton, NY.
August 13 - Thursday - Cradled in am and bound in pm. We all went down town at night to hear the band play.
August 14 - Friday - Cut oats in am and got wet. Had an awful shower. We piled wood and cut oats at night.
August 15 - Saturday - Finished cutting oats in am and helped Leo draw in oats and barley in pm. Lottie, Hank, Cliff and I went after Art at night.
August 16 - Sunday - Art was home. We staid at home until night. Then we took Art down town and went to church.
August 17 - Monday - Drew in barley. It rained. Mills came over. Cliff and I went up to Wallace after a load of sand.
August 18 - Tuesday - Drew manure in am. Helped Leo P. thrash in pm. I took Lottie and Hannah down. We had an awful thundershower at night.
August 19 - Wednesday - Drew 2 loads of wood in am and one in pm. Pa and Cliff took down chimney in pm.
August 20 - Thursday - I went down after Del Dye in am. He and Pa fixed the chimney and Cliff and I patched the roof. Had an awful shower in pm and took Del home at night.
August 21 - Friday - Put up some oats in am. Sawed Wagner’s wood in pm. We moved home. I took a bath and went to bed early.
August 22 - Saturday - Took oats down in am and in pm we reset some oats and I went up to Uncle Lewis’, then to Wayland.
August 23 - Sunday - We were up at Uncle Lewis’. Emma came home with us and it rained from Cohocton way home.
August 24 - Monday - It rained nearly all day. We cleaned the schoolhouse. Lottie and I took Em over to Wesley’s at night.
August 25 - Tuesday - Cut brush in am and drew in barley in pm. We all went down to Prohibition Convention at night.

May 18 - Monday - Plowed all day. It was cold and windy. Pa sorted seed potatoes and drove a cow.
May 19 - Tuesday - Plowed all day.
May 20 - Wednesday - Pa dragged and I finished plowing the potato ground.
May 21 - Thursday - Planted potatoes in pm for the first. Lottie and I went down to the reception for Peterson the evangelist.
May 22 - Friday - Rained in am. Planted in pm. Got a haircut and took a bath and went to bed.
May 23 - Saturday - I plowed all day. Uncle Hank’s folks came in pm. Lottie and I went to town at night.
May 24 - Sunday - Uncle Hank and folks were here. We all went down to Bert’s to dinner. Didn’t go to church.
May 25 - Monday - Sort potatoes. Put up a grist in am. In pm I plowed in 9-acre. Pa and Ma went down town.
May 26 - Tuesday - Finished planting the piece over by the school house and went to bed early.
May 27 - Wednesday - Cleaned cellar in am. Took potatoes out of pit in pm. Pa and Bert went over to Lodge. We had an awful frost.
May 28 - Thursday - Put cement block in well house and in pm we dragged and sowed corn. Lottie and I went down.
May 29 - Friday - Dropped potatoes for Bert all. Pa and I drove down town at night.
May 30 - Saturday - Dragged all day. Lottie and I went down to her folks at night.
May 31 - Sunday - Was down to Lottie’s folks all day. Got home at 8:45. Aunt Edna was home.
June 1 - Monday - Dragged and marked all day. Lottie and I went down town at night.
June 2 - Tuesday - Planted potatoes all day. Bert helped. Lottie and I went down town, developed a film.
June 3 - Wednesday - Planted all day. Bert helped. Finished some pictures at night.
June 4 - Thursday - Finished planting potatoes in am. Lottie and I went to Atlanta and Wayland. Stayed with Gert and Art.
June 5 - Friday - Were in Wayland all am. In the pm we went Atlanta. Had supper with Emma.
June 6 - Saturday - Carl G. and Lorn went to Naples and on to Rochester. Stayed all night with Carl and Eva.
June 7 - Sunday - Drove home from Carl’s in am. B&J were here. Were here all pm and evening.
June 8 - Monday - Pa, Lottie and I went over and helped Bert finish planting potatoes. Pa and I went down town at night.
June 9 - Tuesday - Pa, Bert and I drove Prince to Naples. Drove the auto home. I made three trips over to Bert’s with it.
June 10 - Wednesday - Pa, Hazel, Lottie and I went to Wallace at night to look for carpenter.
June 11 - Thursday - Finished planting potatoes. Hazel, Cliff, Lorn and I went up home for the first time. Mother went as far as G.ma Rose’s
June 12 - Friday - Dragged all day. Father, Mother, Lorn and I went down town and had a cut out put on auto.
June 13 - Saturday - Sowed corn, buckw. Fixed the car. Father and Mother and Lottie and I went down town and took B&J to Bath for a ride.
June 14 - Sunday - Mother, Gert, Lottie and I to church in am. Had a shower. Mother, Lottie and I went to church at night.
June 15 - Monday - Father, Lottie, Gert and I went to Prattsburg in am. Father, Mother, Lottie and I went to Uncle G.’s in pm.
June 16 - Tuesday - Took Alen’s heifer to bull and started tear down the house.
June 17 - Wednesday - Worked on the house all day. Pa, Ma and I took Lottie home at night. Got home at 10:30.
June 18 - Thursday - Worked on the house all day. I went down and got Luther Clark to come and look the house over and took him back.
June 19 - Friday - Jacked up the house and put some skids under it and got it ready to move.
June 20 - Saturday - Rained in am. Started to move kitchen in pm. Bert, Pa, Cliff and I went down after Lottie and to see Watson.
June 21 - Sunday - All went to church but Ma. Hazel came up with us. We took went down at night. Hazel and G. went down with us.
June 22 - Monday - Moved the kitchen away and went down on West Creek to see the Saltsman’s.
June 23 - Tuesday - Rained. The men came to move the house. Cliff and I went after sand.
June 24 - Wednesday - I went down to William Sinclair after some plank. Bert and Cliff went after sand. The men started to move the house. It rained.
June 25 - Thursday - Mowed weeds, cultivated garden, cultivated potatoes in pm. Went down to band concert.
June 26 - Friday - Moved the lower house up to the lane.
June 27 - Saturday - Worked on the house, moving it until noon and then Bill helped us move the woodshed in pm.
June 28 - Sunday - Went up to Loon Lake. Lottie, Pa, Ma and I to church, to Uncle Lewis’s, to Wayland, to Atlanta and home. And then down to church at night.
June 29 - Monday - Worked on house all day. Started to raise the house and put the sills in.
June 30 - Tuesday - Worked on house all day. Lottie, Cliff, Watson and I went down town at night.
July 1 - Wednesday - Rained all day. Worked in shop making window casing and door casing. Taped shoes and cut hair in pm.
July 2 - Thursday - Worked on the house all day. Set pipes for porch at night.
July 3 - Friday - Worked On house in am. In pm took Bert and Jessie to Hornell. Rained all the way over and back.
July 4 - Saturday - Rained nearly all day. Worked in cellar. Went down after Art and Gertie at night.
July 5 - Sunday - Went down to M.E. Church in am. Bert and Jessie were here for dinner. We all went over at night.
July 6 - Monday - Worked on the house in the am. In pm took Art and Gertie to Soldiers and Sailor’s Home, Savona and to Cohocton.
July 7 - Tuesday - Worked on the house all day. Lottie, Pa, Pauline and I went to town at night to see Ward and Peterson.
July 8 - Wednesday - Worked all day on the house. Rained at night.
July 9 - Thursday - Worked awhile in am. Rained nearly all day. Millers folks were over. Cleared up so we moved the woodhouse.
July 10 - Friday - Finished the house and straightened the posts in the barn and went over to Mills’ to an ice cream social.
July 11 - Saturday - Cultivated potatoes and corn all day. Pa went to Bath. Uncle Geo.’s folks came at night. We went down town.
July 12 - Sunday - We all went over to Bert’s to dinner. Uncle Geo., Pa, Bert and I went for a ride down to Wheeler and back to Bert’s. Rained in pm.
July 13 - Monday - Rained. Pa went down after Ward. We worked all day on the house. Cliff went down after Peterson at night.
July 14 - Tuesday - Worked all day on the house. We had a hard thunder shower in pm.
July 15 - Wednesday - Worked all day on the house. Pa, Lottie and I drove the car down town at night.
July 16 - Thursday - Worked all day on house. Lottie, Jessie, Bert and I went down to band concert at night.
July 17 - Friday - Worked all day. Rained in am and at night we had a thundershower.
July 18 - Saturday - Worked all day. I went to town to have some planing done. Pa took a calf. Lottie and I went to town after her mother and Oral.
July 19 - Sunday - Pa, Ma, Lottie, Mother McK. And I went to Portage Silver Lake and Mt Morris.
July 20 - Monday - I went down after carpenter and it rained. We worked on the house all day.
July 21 - Tuesday - Cultivated potatoes all day. Took Mother McKibbin over to Toldsville.
July 22 - Wednesday - Hilled potatoes all day. Rained all the pm. Lottie, Cliff, Oral and I went over to Bert’s to cut his hair.
July 23 - Thursday - Cut orchards in am. Drew in a load of hay in pm. Had an awful shower in pm.
July 24 - Friday - Cut hay in am. Drew in and put up hay in pm. It was a nice day.
July 25 - Saturday - Pa, Oral and I went to Wheeler in am early. Drew in hay and cultivated. Lottie and I took Oral home at night.
July 26 - Sunday - I took Emma, Hanna and Father McKibbin for a ride. Lottie and I came home. Stopped to church and brought carpenter up.
July 27 - Monday - Took the pipe up out of the well. Rained awful hard all the pm and had an awful thundershower.
July 28 - Tuesday - Rained in am. Cliff and I mowed in pm.
July 29 - Wednesday - Rained all day nearly so we all worked on the house. Lottie, Cliff, Mr. Ward and I went down to hear a missionary talk.
July 30 - Thursday - Worked on house and drew in hay. Lottie, Ma, Art and I went to band concert.
July 31 - Friday - Cliff and I mowed in am. Drew in hay. Got wet. Then we went up to Leo’s and sawed lathe.
August 1 - Saturday - I worked on house in am Lottie, Cliff, Chas. Putnam and wife and I went to Bath at night.
August 2 - Sunday - Pa, Lottie and I went to church in am. Bert and Jess were here to dinner. Lottie and I went after carpenter and to church.
August 3 - Monday - Worked in potatoes in am and tended Mason in pm. Pa and I went down town at night.

August 5 - Wednesday - Rained all day. I helped Dye plaster all day.
August 6 - Thursday - Pa and Cliff mowed. I helped Dye finish plastering. Lottie and I took him home. We had a hard rain.
August 7 - Friday - Pa and I put rods on house in am and in pm we drew in hay. Pa, Ma and Cliff went to social to Barnes.
August 8 - Saturday - Cut wood and picked up wood around house in am. In pm Lottie and I and Leo’s folks went up to Atlanta. Then to town at night.
August 9 - Sunday - Pa, Ma, Lottie and I went to church in am. Lottie and I went to church and got the carpenter. Rained all the pm.
August 10 - Monday - Mowed all am. Drew stone and mowed in pm. Pa, Lottie and I went down town at night.
August 11 - Tuesday - Drew hay all day. Tried to wash car after dark.
August 12 - Wednesday - Cut hay in am. Drew in hay in pm. Lottie washed the car.
August 13 - Thursday - Made out order for wallpaper in am. Built cupboards in pm.
August 14 - Friday - Finished haying. Went down town after Emma at night. Lottie, Ray and I went to Bath.
August 15 - Saturday - Cut oats all day. Lottie, Emma and I took carpenters down. Took a little ride and came home.
August 16 - Sunday - Went to church then over to Stryker’s to dinner. Emma, Lottie and I took a ride to Bath.
August 17 - Monday - Cut oats all day. Emma was here.
August 18 - Tuesday - Fixed the force pump and bound oats in pm. Went down town at night.
August 19 - Wednesday - Cut barley and oats all day. Was a awful cold day. Lottie and I went down after Lizzie Newfang.
