January 1 - Monday - Cut corn stalks in am. Went down to Baker’s to class social.

January 2 - Tuesday - I helped Lottie wash in am and cut logs in pm and Lottie and I went down town at night.

January 3 - Wednesday - Cut logs all day. Fixed some pictures at night.

January 4 - Thursday - Filed the saw in am and in pm we cut logs. Pa and Cliff went away at night.

January 5 - February 3 - Note: These entries are missing.

February 4 - Sunday - Lottie and I came home. It was cold. 4 degrees below zero. Lottie caught cold.

February 5 - Monday - Lottie was sick nearly all week.

February 6-9 - Tuesday - Friday - Note: These entries are missing again.

February 10 - Saturday - Went down to Lottie’s folks. Her father was away. Came to Avoca.

February 11 - Sunday - Lottie and I came home. It was cold, 4 below. Lottie and I caught cold and I was sick nearly all the week.

February 12-13 - Monday & Tuesday - Took engine over in the woods to saw wood. Sawed all day. Went down town at night.

February 14 - Wednesday - Finished sawing wood at noon. Took engine home and took a load of wood to town.

February 15 - Thursday - Drew potatoes in pm and went to town at night.

February 16 - Friday - Drew potatoes all day and went to class social to Bath in a load.

February 17 - Saturday - Ma, Pa and Cliff went up to Lewis’s. Peter Van Ness’s folks came up and staid all night.

February 18 - Sunday - Bert and Jess came up to dinner. Then we all went to church at Presbyterian. At night.

February 19 - Monday - Drew wood to schoolhouse and went to Ed Crawford’s auction in pm.

February 20 - Tuesday - Went down to Kanona to the shop with the bay team.

February 21 - Wednesday - Fixed the cart hook and sorted potatoes in pm. Stormed all day.

February 22 - Thursday - Stormed all day. Didn’t do anything. Wrote 2 letters.

February 23 - Friday - Drew potatoes all day. Went up to Crawford’s in evening.

February 24 - Saturday - Drew potatoes all day. Lottie and I went down after Emma. Came home early.

February 25 - Sunday - Stayed home in am. Lottie and I took Emma down in pm. Art and I went to Wallace and Lottie and I went to church.

February 26 - Monday - Drew potatoes all day and went over to Clarence Derrick’s to Harry Griswold’s tin shower.

February 27 - Tuesday - Stormed all day but I took a load of potatoes down in pm.

February 28 - Wednesday - Drew potatoes all day. Went down and paid P. Van Ness a farewell visit.

February 29 - Thursday - Drew potatoes all day. Staid at home at night.

March 1 - Friday - Drew potatoes all day. Staid home at night.

March 2 - Saturday - It was 2 below zero. Drew wood in am. Pa and Cliff went down town. Lottie and I went up to Uncle Lewis’s.

March 3 - Sunday - Had a good time all day. In pm we went down to Atlanta and I had a tooth out 11:15.

March 4 - Monday - Took a load down in am. In pm we cut stalks. Went to bed early.

March 5 - Tuesday - Drew potatoes all day. Went down to Baker’s to class social.

March 6 - Wednesday - Drew potatoes in am. I went to Haskinsville with Art and bought his horse.

March 7 - Thursday - Drew wood all day. Pa and I went down town at night.

March 8 - Friday - Drew wood all day and Pa went to the auction. Bought a dog.

March 9 - Saturday - I drew wood all day. Lottie went down in pm. Her Mother came home with us.

March 10 - Sunday - They all went to church. Carl G. and I went over and got our dog came home and took Lottie’s Ma down to train.

March 11 - Monday - Drew logs to the mill all day. Roger Fox and wife, Lottie and I went down to F. Wagner’s to spend eve.

March 12 - Tuesday - Drew logs in am and cut logs in pm. Went down town at night.

March 13 - Wednesday - Cut logs all day and went up to Griesa’s to spend evening.

March 14 - Thursday - Cut logs all day. Pa, Ma, Cliff, Lottie and I went to Miller’s at night.

March 15 - Friday - Drew logs to mill and Pa skided all day. Went to bed early.

March 16 - Saturday - Drew logs all day. Finished. Went to bed early.

March 17 - Sunday - Lottie went home on train. I went to church and Sunday school. Art came up after his buggy.

March 18 - Monday - Put up a grist and took it to mill. Cliff and I went up to Greisa’s in the eve.

March 19 - Tuesday - Cut stalks nearly all day. Drew some rails in pm. Staid at home.

March 20 - Wednesday - Ma was sick and Pa staid in the house and chored around and Cliff and I went over to Muckles’.

March 21 - Thursday - I fixed my cart and drew some wood. Greisa’s folks came down and Art came down.

March 22 - Friday - Butchered in am. Done some blacksmith work for Bert in pm. Made sausage. Carl came down.

March 23 - Saturday - Art and I cut apple tree in am. Pa went down town and I went down to Lottie’s folks after her.

March 24 - Sunday - Got down to McKibbin’s at 7:30 pm. Had a good time. Snowed so hard that we staid until Monday.

March 25 - Monday - It was nice, but nice sleighing. Came home. Pa and I sawed wood in pm.

March 26 - Tuesday - Sawed wood all day. Lottie and I and Greisa’s folks went down to Fox’s in the evening.

March 27 - Wednesday - Sawed apple tree in am. Lottie and I went down town in cutter and to Muckles’ auction in pm. Mailed order for machine.

March 28 - Thursday - Sawed wood all day. Came up. Went to bed early.

March 29 - Friday - Fixed my buggy in am. It rained so we sorted seed potatoes in pm.

March 30 - Saturday - Pa and I cut wood in am. Cliff and I cut wood in pm. Pa helped Bert move. Took a bath and went to bed.

March 31 - Sunday - Lottie and I went to church and Sunday school. Ma went to L.S.(Reader’s Note: Lewis Strick’s) Loon Lake. Rained all night.

April 1 - Monday - Sawed apple trees all day. It rained nearly all night. Turned to snow.

April 2 - Tuesday - Sorted seed potatoes all day. Greisa’s folks stopped here in pm. We had a heavy snow storm.

April 3 - Wednesday - Pitched corn stalks over Emory Mills’ and Ellis came over. Pa and I went down town. Got windows. I was sick. Ada came up with us.

April 4 - Thursday - I was sick all day. Pa and Cliff went down and got the rest of windows with the sleigh.

April 5 - Friday - Worked in shop all day. Fixed Bert’s drills and drags.

April 6 - Saturday - Cut corn stalks in am. I took Ada down. I came home and done the chores. Went to Greisa’s. Pa staid down and Ma came up with him.

April 7 - Sunday - Staid at home all day. Rained and snowed all day. Was awful windy.

April 8 - Monday - Made drag rack and drew out five loads of wood.

April 9 - Tuesday - Sawed apple trees all day. Went to bed early.

April 10 - Wednesday - Sawed apple trees in am and Pa and Ma went down to Mrs. Dillenbeck’s funeral. I helped C. Greisa.

April 11 - Thursday - Sawed apple trees all day. Finished. I went down town and got Lottie's machine.

April 12 - Friday - Rained all day. Art came up. I went over to Muckles’. Got the iron off Bert’s rake and fixed it.

April 13 - Saturday - Fixed the road in am. I drew limb wood in pm. Lottie and I went down town at night.

April 14 - Sunday - Went up to Greisa’s in pm and staid until 10. Had a dandy time.

April 15 - Monday - Brewer came up and he and I put the window frames together. Went to bed early.

April 16 - Tuesday - Brewer and Peterson came up and worked on the house. Lottie and I went down town.

April 17 - Wednesday - Both carpenters came up and worked on the house. I went down town in am.

April 18 - Thursday - Both carpenters worked on house. Lottie and I went down town and to Bert’s at night.

April 19 - Friday - Both carpenters worked on house. I put my clippers together at night.

April 20 - Saturday - Painted house in am. Went to Ketch’s in pm and clipped three horses.

April 21 - Sunday - Clarence D. and wife were here. Father and Mother went to Wagner’s. Lottie and I were alone.

April 22 - Monday - Worked on house all day. Went to bed early.

April 23 - Tuesday - Worked on house Father plowed for the first T. Father and I went down town.

April 24 - Wednesday - Worked on house all day. Cliff and I went down town at night.

April 25 - Thursday - Made cement blocks for steps. Carpenters finished their work. Lottie read aloud.

April 26 - Friday - I draged all day with my horse and Bay team.

April 27 - Saturday - I draged all day with a 3-h/ team. Went to bed early.

April 28 - Sunday - Lottie and I went down to Bert’s to dinner. Pa went over after Kate to paper.

April 29 - Monday - Rained all day. We cleaned up oats. I fixed Bert’s dray.

April 30 - Tuesday - Drew out wood all day. Pa took Kate down town.

May 1 - Wednesday - Pa went to Bath and I drew-out wood. I set a phone pole. Lottie and I went to town.

May 2 - Thursday - I draged and Pa sowed oats all day.

May 3 - Friday - I draged and Pa sowed oats all day.

May 4 - Saturday - I draged and Pa sowed. Lottie and I went down town at night.

May 5 - Sunday - Lottie and I went to church and Sunday school in am. Took a walk in pm. Pa and Ma went to Wheeler.

May 6 - Monday - I plowed and tried the sulky. Lottie and went down to Fay Chapman’s to a community meeting.

May 7 - Tuesday - I draged all day and clipped Floyd W.’s horses at night.

May 8 - Wednesday - Rained. Pa went to Bath and I drew fertilizer all day.

May 9 - Thursday - Carl was down and helped us drag all day on 12-acre lot.

May 10 - Friday - Finished sowing oats and helped Carl finish. I draged all day for Carl. Went down to class social.

May 11- Saturday - Cliff rolled. Pa and drew manure. Lottie and I went down to her folks. I had Prince shod.

May 12 - Sunday - Was down to Lottie’s folks. Emma down to Bath. Rained. We stopped to Bert’s.

May 13 - Monday - I plowed corn ground all day with sulky. Carl came down. I fixed his dray. Snowed.

May 14 - Tuesday - I plowed corn ground all day. Snowed.

May 15 - Wednesday - Plowed corn ground all day. Mr. Peterson put door in.

May 16 - Thursday - Took Mr. Peterson down town. Went down to Bert’s. Sorted potatoes in pm. Rained all day.

May 17 - Friday - Put new chimney on the house. Rained.

May 18 - Saturday - Plowed all day. Pa and Ma went to lake. Cliff, Lottie and I went down town with Carl and Eva.

May 19 - Sunday - Was home all day. Worked around all day.

May 20 - Monday - Drew manure all day. Lottie and I worked at painting our buggy.

May 21 - Tuesday - I plowed all day in 12-acre lot back of barn. Worked on buggy.

May 22 - Wednesday - I plowed all day on 12-acre lot. Worked on buggy.

May 23 - Thursday - I plowed all day. Cliff draged corn ground. I rode my wheel down town.

May 24 -- Friday - I plowed all day. Pa marked corn ground and planted corn.

May 25 - Saturday - I finished 12-acre lot and sowed corn in pm. Aunt Carrie came. Lottie and I went down with Griesa.

May 26 - Sunday - Aunt Carrie and our folks went down to Bert’s. Lottie and I was here all day alone. We went up and done Carl’s chores.

May 27 - Monday - Commenced draging 12-acre lot. Bert came up after the plow.

May 28 - Tuesday - Draged until nearly noon. Then Pa and I marked and started to plant.

May 29 - Wednesday - Drew on logs in am and Pa took A. Carrie down. Cliff and I piled Lumber in pm. L. and I went to town.

May 30 - Thursday - Split logs all day and drew slabs home. Cliff plowed in pm.

May 31, - Friday - Finished splitting logs in am. Planted potatoes in pm.

June 1 - Saturday - I dropped potatoes. Pa took calves town. Lottie and I took Hannah down town.

June 2 - Sunday - Pa and Ma went to church. Cliff and Ellis went to Sunday school and Lottie and I went to Sunday school. Had a thundershower. Lottie and I done Carl’s chores.

June 3 - Monday - Plowed in am and I planted potatoes in pm.

June 4 - Tuesday - Finished planting 12-acre lot in am. Plowed in pm.

June 5 - Wednesday - Plowed all day and Cliff draged.

June 6 - Thursday - Finished plowing in 12-acre lot by Mills’ in am. Draged in pm.

June 7 - Friday - Draged in pm. I marked in pm. Leroy came. Lottie and I went down to band concert.

June 8 - Saturday - Planted potatoes all day. Lottie and I went down town at night.

June 9 - Sunday - Lottie and I went to Aunt Emma’s and to Floyd Clark’s and then home. Had a dandy time.

June 10 - Monday - Planted potatoes all day. Went down town. Lottie and I. Finished planting 12 acres.

June 11 - Tuesday - Blew out stumps in am. Draged buckW. Ground in pm and I went down to Bert’s.

June 12 - Wednesday - Pa drew potatoes. I tore down fences, fixed engine and pulled stumps.

June 13 - Thursday - Helped Carl plant potatoes all day. Leroy helped cover.

June 14 - Friday - Finished plowing orchard and draged it. Lottie and I took the butter down town.

June 15 - Saturday - Planted potatoes in orchard. Finished. Lottie went home on train.

June 16 - Sunday - I went over to Mills’ in am and Bert and Jess was up in pm. I was home all day.

June 17 - Monday- I drilled corn in am. Pa took hog to Sager’s. I plowed b.wheat ground. Cliff draged b.wheat. ground.

June 18 - Tuesday - I plowed all day. Pa helped Bert plant potatoes.

June 19 - Wednesday - I plowed all day. Fixed Carl Griesa’s rill st noon.

June 20 - Thursday - I plowed all day. Finished. Lewis, Cliff and I went up Greisa’s at night.

June 21 - Friday - I helped tore down woodshed. I got my finger pinched. Lewis, Cliff and went down town at night.

June 22 - Saturday - Pa and I drew up lumber all day. Lewis and I went down to Mt. Washington after Lottie.

June 23 - Sunday - Was down to Mt. W. Had a good time all day. Started home 6 pm. Got home 9 pm.

June 24 - Monday - Drew up a load of lumber in am. Mowed the road and the piece down by the other house.

June 25 - Tuesday - Worked on the woodshed all day. Got our hay in the pm.

June 26 - Wednesday - Worked on woodshed all day.

June 27 - Thursday - Worked on woodshed all day. Went down town.

June 28 - Friday - Worked on woodshed all day. Lottie and I went down to band concert.

June 29 - Saturday - Worked on woodshed all day. Staid at home at night.

June 30 - Sunday - Staid at home until night. Then went down to Bert’s. Liman rode home with us.

July 1 - Monday - Liman and I put the door on the woodshed and then built scaffold to patch barn.

July 2 - Tuesday - Patched the barn all day. Liman and I went down town after a bunch of shingles.

July 3 - Wednesday - Finished patching barn. I put floor in woodshed. Pa took Liman home.

July 4 - Thursday - Lottie and I got up early and started for Uncle Lewis. A good time all day. Rained in pm.

July 5 - Friday - Got up at 4 o’clock and started home. Got at 7:45 am. Built fence and took butter down at night.

July 6 - Saturday - Pa and Ma went to Bath. I took calf down and cultivate in pm.

July 7 - Sunday - Went to church in am. Went up to Carl’s in pm. Carl’s folks came down in evening.

July 8 - Monday - Cut hay in am. Put it up in pm. Lottie and I went down town.

July 9 - Tuesday - Drew in hay in am. Put up hay in pm. Had an awful rain and thunders.

July 10 - Wednesday - I got up at 4 am. Went down to shop. Got home at noon. And in the pm cultivated/

July 11 - Thursday - Cultivated in am. Worked around the woodshed in pm. It rained.

July 12 - Friday - Cultivated in am. Worked in hay in pm. Lottie and I took butter down.

July 13 - Saturday - Cultivated in the am. I worked on roads and drew in hay in pm. Went down town.

July 14 - Sunday - Went down to Robinson’s. Stayed at home all am. I taped my shoes. Lottie and Carl’s folks went up to Roger Fox’s. Then down to Bert’s at night.

July 15 - Monday - Cultivated all day. Had a very hard shower at night.

July 16 - Tuesday - Went up to Carl’s and sawed his wood. Then came home and cultivated.

July 17 - Wednesday - Cultivated corn all day. Lottie and I went down town at night.

July 18 - Thursday - Pa and I cultivated all day. Mrs Willis and Rose Wagner came up.

July 19 - Friday - Shovel-plowed and put hay. Lottie and I took Mrs. Willis down and heard the band play.

July 20 - Saturday - Uncle came to town. We all went to town.

July 21 - Sunday - Rained nearly all day. Stayed at home all day. Coward’s folks and Bert and Jess were up to dinner.

July 22 - Monday - Cut wheat and cultivated. Cliff went down with Lottie.

July 23 - Tuesday - Cultivated all day. Mowed at night. Art came up at night.

July 24 - Wednesday - Rained in am. We helped pick berries and finished shovel-plowing.

July 25 - Thursday - Cut hay in am. Drew in hay in pm. Put up 5 loads after supper.

July 26 - Friday - Took down the wall and graded around the woodshed.

July 27 - Saturday - Drew in hay in am. Cultivated corn in pm. Pa and Ma went up to Uncle Lewis’s.

July 28 - Sunday - I drove Flora over to Edward’s. Got the cows in and went up to Griesa’s to fix his engine.

July 29 - Monday - Finished corn and cultivated potatoes until it rained.

July 30 - Tuesday - Cut hay in am and put it up in pm.. Went to bed early.

July 31 - Wednesday - Drew lumber home and took berries down town at night.

August 1 - Thursday - Drew lumber home and drew in hay in pm. It rained at night.

August 2 - Friday - Shovel-plowed until it rained. Then fixed steps in woodshed and took berries down.

August 3 - Saturday - Sawed wood until it rained. Put engine back and all went down town at night.

August 4 - Sunday - Went down to Lottie’s folks. Had a dandy time. Got home at 10:30.

August 5 - Monday - Finished sawing wood in am. Measured the road and Carl and Pa and I went down town.

August 6 - Tuesday - Pa went down town. I shovel-plowed potatoes all day. Finished.

August 7 - Wednesday - Drew sand for the Masonic Hall.

August 8 - Thursday - Drew sand for Masonic Hall. Went to ball game.

August 9 - Friday - Cradled the side hill in pm and it rained. Lottie and I went down town.

August 10 - Saturday - Cut oats in pm. All went down town in evening.

August 11 - Sunday - Eichman and Uncle Lewis’s folks were here all day. It rained like the duce.

August 12 - Monday - cut oats in pm and quit early and went to the concert at night.

August 13 - Tuesday - Worked Prince on binder in am. It rained in pm. Took Emma down at night.

August 14 - Wednesday - Cradled in am and bound oats in pm.

August 15 - Thursday - Bound oats in am and went to Corbett’s reunion in pm and to Bath at night.

August 16 - Friday - Fixed binder in am and bound oats in pm.

August 17 - Saturday - Cut oats all day. Pa drove Prince down town at night.

August 18 - Sunday - Pa, Ma and Cliff went over to Shiloh’s. Lottie and I went to church and came home. Lottie went down to her folks.

August 19 - Monday - Went up and took Carl’s engine apart and fixed it and drew manure in pm. Went cut wood.

August 20 - Tuesday - I plowed in am and bound in pm. I went down town in evening.

August 21 - Wednesday - Made some mangers in cow stable and bound oats in pm. I went down and got Pete.

August 22 - Thursday - Finished cutting oats and helped Peterson on horse barn.

August 23 - Friday - Helped Peterson on barn.

August 24 - Saturday - Helped Peterson on barn and went down to Lottie’s folks.

August 25 - Sunday - Had a good time all day. Came home at night. Carry Wagner came.

August 26 - Monday - Helped Peterson on barn.

August 27 - Tuesday - Helped Peterson on barn.

August 28 - Wednesday - Helped Peterson on barn.

August 29 - Thursday - Helped Peterson on barn.

August 30 - Friday - Helped Pete in am. Thrashed to Hyna’s in pm. Went down after Ada and Luella at night.

August 31 - Saturday - Helped Pete put up eve troughs and finished barn and Lottie and Luella and I went to show.

September 1 - Sunday - Lottie and I took Uncle F, Millers, Luella and Ada down to Bert’s. Had a shower and a good time.

September 2 - Monday - Fixed up around the barn and took the girls down to Bert’s at night.

September 3 - Tuesday - Went to Kanona to shop with the horses. Got home and set up oats.

September 4 - Wednesday - Drew in oats.

September 5 - Thursday - Drew in oats all day. Was tired and went to bed early.

September 6 - Friday - Drew in oats all day. Took butter down at night.

September 7 - Saturday - Finished drawing in oats. Lottie and I went down town at night.

September 8 - Sunday - Stayed at home all day. Art was here and Mills’ folks came in pm.

September 9 - Monday - Thrashers came at noon and thrashed all pm. Herb and I went down town at night.

September 10 - Tuesday - Finished thrashing at home and moved to Miller’s and finished him up.

September 11 - Wednesday - Thrashed for Carl G. all day. Lottie and I went to Jack Partridge’s to Spencer’s shower.

September 12 - Thursday - Cut buckwheat down by the woods. Went to bed early.

September 13 - Friday - Sheeted woodshed and cut b.wheat in pm. Lottie and I took butter down at night.

September 14 - Saturday - Cut buckwheat with Prince. Finished. Had a heavy thundershower.

September 15 - Sunday - Griesa’s folks and Lottie and I went up to North Cohocton and up to Uncle Lewis’s, then home.

September 16 - Monday - Sheeted the woodshed. Pa went down town and I split wood and made eave trough.

September 17 - Tuesday - Put up eve trough and sheeted wood house. Picked up apples. I took chicks down.

September 18 - Wednesday - Fixed watering trough. Picked up apples. Pa went to town and I fixed Cliff’s wheel.

September 19 - Thursday - Pa took a load of apples to Cohocton. I sided woodshed and took Ma to train.

September 20 - Friday - Painted hog pen roof and went to Shader’s to a party at night.

September 21 - Saturday - Sawed wood for schoolhouse and cut corn and pulled beans in pm.

September 22 - Sunday - Carl came down. We washed platform and my buggy and all went over to Roger Fox’s to dinner and went to church.

September 23 - Monday - Cleaned harness room and harnesses. Fixed mailbox and made some keys.

September 24 - Tuesday - Put sash locks on. Rained all day and I went down town at night.

September 25 - Wednesday - Pa and I split wood in am. I picked pears in pm and Pa went down town.

September 26 - Thursday - Lottie, Cliff and I went to town to fair. Pa cut corn and it rained. Lottie lost her raincoat. First frost.

September 27 - Friday - Cut corn all day. I fixed Carl’s reaper in am. Pa and I went down town at night.

September 28 - Saturday - Thrashed at Wagner’s all day. Lottie and I went down town to shower at night.

September 29 - Sunday - Art was up all day. Lottie and I went down to church and Sunday school, but they did not have any on account of Mr. Rynder’s funeral.

September 30 - Monday - Thrashed for Coward in am and cut corn in pm until it rained. Our folks went to town.

October 1 - Tuesday - Cut corn all day. Lottie and I went down to town at night. It was a good day.

October 2 - Wednesday - Cut corn all day. Was a dandy day. Lottie went down town.

October 3 - Thursday - Cut corn all day. Finished. Pa and Cliff drew in b.wheat.

October 4 - Friday - Jim and I cut the sowed corn and dug headland. Lottie and I went to Floyd Fleishman’s show.

October 5 - Saturday - Jim and I dug potatoes. Pa and Cliff drew in buckwheat.

October 6 - Sunday - Staid at home in am. Pa and Ma went to church. Lottie and I went for a ride in pm.

October 7 - Monday - Dug all day. 206 bus. Made 2 trips and Pa 2.

October 8 - Tuesday - Dug all day. Made two trips and Pa 2.

October 9 _ Wednesday - Dug all day. Cliff broke the digger.

October 10 - Thursday - Dug all day. Broke the digger.

October 11 - Friday - Dug all day. Broke the digger. 313 bus. Lottie and I went down town.

October 12 - Saturday - Dug all day. Rained a little in pm. Finished the lot back of barn. Pa and Ma went to town.

October 13 - Sunday - Staid at home all day. Libby and Jean K. was up to dinner.

October 14 - Monday - Dug all day.

October 15 - Tuesday - Dug all day.

October 16 - Wednesday - Dug all day. Lottie and I went down town at night.

October 17 - Thursday - Dug all day.

October 18 - Friday - Dug all day.

October 19 - Saturday - Lottie and I went down to her folks. Draged out potatoes all day.

June 29 - Sunday - Stayed at home all day. Bert and Jess were here and had ice cream.

June 30 - Monday - Cut hay in am and cultivated in pm.

July 1 - Tuesday - Pa and Cliff cultivated and I took hog to Bauer’s and drew in hay in pm and went down to Bert’s at night.

July 2 - Wednesday - Drew our roofing up. Lottie and I went down town at night.

July 3 - Thursday - Cultivated all day. Cliff went up to lake in pm. Lottie and I went down to Bert’s to do his chores.

July 4 - Friday - Sowed corn and took Bert and Jess to station. Cultivated the rest of time. Lottie and I went to Bath..

July 5 - Saturday - Cultivated all day and went to Kanona at night after my buggy. Bert came home.

July 6 - Sunday - Lottie and I was down to her folks. Went down in am from Bert’s and back at night.

July 7 - Monday - Cultivated all day. Went down after Floyd and Anna D. came up with us.

July 8 - Tuesday - Cultivated all day. We went down to Bert’s at night.

July 9 - Wednesday - Drove posts all day and built fence all day. Pa and Lottie went to Mrs. Gay’s funeral in pm.

July 11 - Friday - I was down to help Bert draw in hay. I got home at 9:30.

July 12 - Saturday - I hilled potatoes and took Spark down to Dr. Pa and Ma went up to the lake.

July 13 - Sunday - Lottie, Cliff and I were here alone all day. We went up to Carl’s in pm. We had a rain.

July 14 - Monday - Hilled in pm and mowed in pm.

July 15 - Tuesday - Put up hay in pm. Cliff and I mowed in am. I went down after some tobac.

July 16 - Wednesday - Drew in hay all day and took berries down at night.

July 18 - Friday - Pa and Cliff cultivated all day and I hilled and spliced a rope for Ed Crawford.

July 20 - Sunday - Lottie and I was going to drive our buggy for the first time over to ? but it rained so we drove the top buggy to C. Louck’s.

July 21 - Monday - Mowed and put up hay all day and went down town at night.

July 22 - Tuesday - Mowed and put up hay in am. Helped Carl in pm. Mowed and put up hay at night.

August 30 - Saturday - Went to Niagara Falls and to Asa’s . Had a nice time.

August 31 - Sunday - Went to church to Niagara Falls with Geo. S.’s folks and came home.

September 1 - Monday - Went to Labor Day celebration in pm.

September 2 - Tuesday - Cut brush all day. Was hot.

September 4 - Thursday - Cut brush all day. Lottie and I drove down to Bert’s.

September 11 - Thursday - Put binder away. Drew in beans and cut corn in pm. Went to bed early.

September 12 - Friday - Cut corn all day. Went down town at night.

September 13 - Saturday - Cut corn in am. Stryker was up to roof the woodshed. Lottie and I went down to her folks.

September 14 - Sunday - Had a good time all day. Came home at night and stopped to Bert’s.

September 15 - Monday - Cut corn in am. I helped William Fox thrash in pm and Pa went down after L. Rennel's and folks.

September 16 - Tuesday - Cut corn all day. Uncle Jake came. Lewis and I went down town.

September 17 - Wednesday - Helped John E. thrash in pm. Lewis and I went down town.

September 18 - Thursday - I drove the colt to shop and Pa drew wood.

September 19 - Friday - Thrashed to Ebersold’s and to Wagner’s. Lottie and I went down to Bert’s after Mabel and Lewis.

September 20 - Saturday - Finished thrashing to Wagner’s and took Mabel and Lewis up to Uncle Lewis. Went to Wayland at night.

September 21 - Sunday - Was up to Uncle Lewis’s. Had a good time but it rained all day so we stayed and came home Mon. early.

September 22 - Monday - I helped Mills thrash in am. I took Dr. Hardin In pm.

September 23 - Tuesday - Bound corn all day. Lottie and I were down with some chicks and ducks.

September 24 - Wednesday - Bound corn all day. Was nearly sick all day. Went to bed early.

September 25 - Thursday - Pa, Ma and Cliff went to fair. Jim and I bound corn and picked pears. Went down town.

September 26 - Friday - Drew in bwheat all day. Lottie and I went down to meet the Schwingel girls.

September 27 - Saturday - Finished the B. wheat. Jim and I fixed the digger. Lottie, the girls and I went to the show.

September 28 - Sunday - Stayed at home in am. Went to Sunday school home in pm. Had a dandy time.

September 29 - Monday - Started to dig potatoes in am and Lottie took the girls to the train.

September 30 - Tuesday - Dug potatoes all day. Cliff and I took eggs and roosters down town.

October 1 - Wednesday - Rained in am. We dug potatoes in pm. Fixed my shoes at night.

November 21 - Friday - Dug ditch in am. Pa went to funeral and Lottie went to Ada’s. Will and I went hunting in pm.

November 22 - Saturday - Cleaned hen house. Buried potatoes in am. In pm Pa went to Beal’s after carcass and I worked in shop.

November 23 - Sunday - Bert and Jess were here and Lottie and I went to church in evening.

November 24 - Monday - Clipped Prince in am and made Jack in pm.

November 25 - Tuesday - Took wood down town in am and butchered in pm. Took hog down at night.

November 26 - Wednesday - Pulled stumps all day. Pa took Cliff down to train at night and I went to Lodge.

November 27 - Thursday - Lottie and I went over to Ada’s to dinner and came home.

November 28 - Friday - Bert came up and we went hunting all day.

November 29 - Saturday - Pulled stump in am. Pa and Ma went to lake. I took a load of wood down and went down after Em.

December 5 - Friday - Plowed in am. Husked corn in pm. Went down town at night.

December 6 - Saturday - It rained. Our folks came home and I took Lottie down to Clair’s.

December 7 - Sunday - Cleaned B.W. all day. I went down town at night.

December 8 - Monday - Took two loads of B.W. to Bath.

December 9 - Tuesday - Helped Mills butcher in am and John in pm. I went down town.

December 10 - Wednesday - Pa and I went to the auction but they postponed it a week.
