Contributed by Lanny Robbins who purchased this ledger book on Ebay.  It is through his generosity that we have a copy of it for the Steuben Co., NY GenWeb pages.

Chauncey Hubbard kept this book of his finances.  From the missing pages that were cut out it looks as if when an account was settled he cut out the page.  The below are in jpg format of the page which the name is located. When all is transcribed from this book it will be given as requested by Lanny to the Steuben County Historical Society, Bath, NY.

Note:

Lanny purchased this primarily because the name "Asa Robbins" was listed in the item description. Lanny nor I have any further data on the below names - what you see is what there is!

There were some personal letters glued in the back that the seller of the ledger could not remove - they will be posted at a later date, they are very old and fragile - some illegible in spots, along with those there was also included a bunch of photostatic copies of letters that were loose within the ledger that came to Lanny - he did not get the originals of the loose letters ONLY the copies of which he sent to me.
