Roosevelt Library used by Roach in preparing an unpublished project including correspondence of Isaac Roosevelt, 1753-1793; letters of Mrs. Isaac Roosevelt (Mary Rebecca Aspinwall) to John Aspinwall Roosevelt, 1866-1886, and condolences on her death, 1886; letters concerning the family estate at Rosedale, 1865; letters of James Roosevelt, 1858-1877 and 1890; letters of Charles Bull to his father John Bull, 1831-1875; and a transcript and index to the diary of Rebecca Howland Roosevelt, first wife of James Roosevelt, concerning their lives in New York, trips to Europe, and the move to Hyde Park in 1867, 1865-1875. Also, some original Roosevelt papers; and Roach's correspondence concerning possible publication of Rebecca Howland Roosevelt's diary, 1956-1963.
