- ABSTRACT: A small collection relating to those portions of Hezekiah Beer Pierrepont's land in Pierrepont, St. Lawrence County and Waverly and Dickinson in Franklin County, which were conveyed through Henry Evelyn Pierrepont. Two volumes of letterpress copybooks of Henry Evelyn Pierrepont, Jr. The volumes contain letters, primarily to E.W. Foster and F.M. Heath, between 1879 and 1887. The letters regard the management of Pierrepont's property. One volume of a letterpress/copybook contains correspondence dealing with the Pierrepont store in Brooklyn, N.Y.
- ABSTRACT: The collection also contains maps, survey books, wills of family members, deeds to family owned lands in Franklin and St. Lawrence Counties and other material, including letters from Jonathan Dayton concerning the purchase by Hezekiah Beer Pierrepont of 2620 acres of Dayton's land in tract 3 of Macomb's purchase.
