Two of the volumes contain typescript genealogical information that Getty extracted from an unpublished book NOTES FOR A HISTORY OF WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK, by Asa Fitch, the manuscript of which is held by the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society Library.
