It is the mission of the Solvay-Geddes Historical Society to collect, preserve, and showcase historical artifacts of the greater Solvay-Geddes community. We will continually expand our network of members to offer ever greater numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from our programs.

One of our members has written a book about the Cherry Road School, Marion Parsons and what it was like to grow up in the Westvale area in the early and mid 1900's. The book is called "The Brass Bell" by Camille Cole
The book is available for local pickup through the historical society for $24.95 cash or check. We have 30 books available and will be selling them at our meetings.
