This Indenture Made the fourth day of February in the year of our
Lord Eighteen hundred and nineteen Between John S. Bennett of the town
of Wayne in the County of Steuben and State of New York of the first part
and Benjamin Sutton of the County of Seneca of the Second part Witnesseth
that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum
of one Dollar to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby confessed
and acknowledged, Hath remised, released, & quit Claimed and by these
presents doth remise release, & Quit Claim, unto the said party of
the second part (in his actual possession now being) and to his heirs and
assigns forever: All that piece or Lot of land Bounded north on the road
that crosses the outlet of the little Lake in the town of Wayne on the
East by the land occupied by Benjamin B. Brown on the west by land belonging
to Ralph Swarthout & Justus J. Bennett being part of the twelve hundred
acres of land known by the name of the Conet Tract in Township number five
in the first range of townships in the county of Steuben, containing one
hundred & fifty acres of land more or less: Together with all and singular
the hereditaments & appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise
appertaining: & the reversion & reversions, remainder & remainders
rents issues and profits thereof & all the Estate, right, title, interest
claim or demand whatsoever of him the said party of the first part, either
in law or Equity of in and to the above bargained premises & every
part & parcel thereof to the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns to the sole and only proper use benefit & behoof of the
said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, In Witness
whereof the said party of the first part hath hereunto set his hand and
seal the day & year first above written.

Steuben County On the sixth day of February
in the year of our Lord A.D. 1819 personally appeared before me Wm. Read
Esquire one of the Judges of the Court of common Pleas in and for the County
of Steuben Joseph Bennett one of the within subscribing witnesses personally
known to me and being by me duly sworn made oath that he knows the said
within named John S. Bennett and that he is the same person described in
the within deed who executed the said Deed for the uses and purposes
described therein and who executed the same instrument And having examined
the same and finding no erasures or interlineations only those noted at
the bottom of the said deed do allow it to be Recorded.
