Know all men by these presents that I Benjamin Sutton of the town
of Romulus in the County of Seneca and state of New York in consideration
of the sum of nine hundred dollars to me in hand paid by Joseph Bennett
of the town of Wayne in the County of Steuben & state aforesaid the
receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have bargained, sold and quit claimed
and by these presents do bargain, sell and quit claim unto the said Joseph
Bennett and to his heirs and assigns forever: All my right title interest
estate, claim and demand both at law and Equity and as well in possession
as in expectancy of in and to all that farm or piece of land being &
situate in township number five in the first range of townships in the
County of Steuben & state aforesaid being one hundred and sixty nine
acres off the South part of lot number twenty eight reference being had
to the said land marked on a map in a certain deed given by Justus Bennett
by Samuel S. Haight and others together with and singular the hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging – In Witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and seal this first day of April in the year one thousand eight
hundred and eighteen.

eighteen hundred and eighteen before me John Sayre one of the Judges of
the Court of Common pleas in & for the said county of Seneca came Benjamin
Sutton to me known to be the person described in the within deed as grantor
and acknowledged that he executed the same let it be Recorded
