Philo Sackett & his son John C. Sackett
Buel Sackett (son of Benjamin) born Jul. 28, 1763
& was a Rev. War soldier.
Buel married Sally Earl Beach (b. May 27, 1761).
They were pioneers
of Columbia co., NY. Philo (2nd son of Buel
& Sally) was born at New Lebanon, NY
on Jun. 13, 1788. Philo married on Jan.
6, 1814 Gratia Perkins (dau of Sands & Mary Perkins)
who was born in Rhode Island on Jan. 16, 1787.
Philo and Gratia lived in Nassau,
Rensselaer co., NY until 1828, then in Hector, NY.
Philo died there on Oct. 12, 1863.
Mrs. Philo Sackett died Sept. 10, 1869.
John Clark Sackett (5th son of Philo) b. Nassau, NY
on Dec. 6, 1821.
On Sept. 19, 1848 was married to Rebecca E. Bloomer
(dau of Joshua & Elizabeth Bloomer)
who was b. at Ovid, Seneca co., NY on Jan. 12, 1826.
Four children of John C. & Rebecca:
Seneca Bloomer Sackett (b. 1851) who married
Lucy b. Wright (dau of Thomas & Elizabeth Wright);
Willis Perkins Sackett (b. 1855);
Grace Elizabeth Sackett (b. 1859);
Annie Burt Sackett (b. 1866).
