NATURALIZATION PAPERS OF HENRY MAHAM AND WILLIAM MAHAM

Taken from "The Mayham Family 1795 – 1950" by Grace Raymond, published by the Mayham Family Reunion Committee – 1950.

"The following papers are on file at the County Clerk’s office Schoharie, N. Y. They are our only record as to when and whence the family came to this country. The papers were not taken out until Henry Maham was 88 years old and his son, William, 51. This was obviously done in preparation for the settlement of Henry Maham’s estate."
